Sure is a sign Beck stays, but if not we are screwed even with Riola (sp) and Puglisi (sp) coming in.

Don’t that has any impact on Beck. Beck’s decision will come after the bowl game and when he gets a better idea of QB needs in the NFL

On3 guys saying not a given that it means Beck is back. Says maybe he asked to be promised the starting job if Beck does leave and wasn't given the answer he wanted.

His official decision may come that late, but he will let Kirby know within next couple of days. Probably makes announcement at that time too.

If durability is an issue, I don't think spending another year not in the NFL is going to be the best bet.
The way McConkey had his head in his hands on the sideline during the GT game made me wonderful if being a football player is in his future.

Cam Ward will be available....nice dual threat from WaSt. He was rumored to go to Oregon but seems those rumors were premature. He'd be a helluva stopgap for us at QB should Beck leave. I'm just not too confident in Gunnar coming in as a starter with how difficult our schedule is going to be next season.

Only incidental to the topic of arrivals and departures…but, I am amused a bit by how everyone realizes NOW how important Beck is.
