Thinking you're right. Transfer portal opens this sort of move up. In the past JDJ comes back, but now, when the young dogs pass you up, you get kindly asked to leave.

Thanks for the memories though Pop. DGD.

Man I surely hope we have a plan. It’s quiet AF and I literally have no idea how Kirby is gonna replace these losses with “quality” players. Hopefully (probably) Kirby knows something we don’t.

I mean we haven't lost anyone that I would consider irreplaceable yet. Got a big class coming in...gotta make the numbers work and get to 85. Kirby knows what he's doing for sure.

A lot of speculation that we’re processing guys and trying to get more athletic. Folks over at 247 say this was a mutual agreement. His snaps were gonna go down with the emergence of Allen and Wilson. Mondon may be in the mix but some say he too may transfer. The defense will be playing many younger guys but they do appear to be much more athletic next year. We’ll probably add a couple of surprise players on D.

#processed

Allen, Wilson...plus we have the #1 and #2 ranked ILB coming in.

JDJ and Mondon were supposed to have big years this year and go pro. Didn't happen and now the young guys are passing them. Mondon was apparently hurt most of the year. JDJ just not as athletic.

Yeah, the clock may be ticking on Mondon. His athleticism is elite, but his IQ is not very good. Hopefully he will stay and take that next step because I think he could be really good.

I don’t think Mondon is the type of player they’ll process though. I absolutely could be wrong though. This has been a crazy portal period. Mondon has 1 year left and a healthy season could definitely complement Allen/Wilson.

Say whatever yall want but JDJ is a great linebacker sidelined with a broken arm, and if we had him all season we 3-peat. Don't try to tell me Kirby ran him off for cap space. That's full retard. JDJ is exactly who you'd want coming into 2024 at linebacker.

Can I get a Cliffs Notes of what SoFlDawg thinks about Dumas-Johnson and Raiola and whatever else he's been posting about the last few days. I can't post there.

Dumas-Johnson is an all-time DGD. He was one of the best team leaders of the Kirby era. A Georgia legend.

That's pretty much what sofl said.

He didn't see it coming.
It makes a little bit of sense. JDJ would be a starter next year. But it would be a 3 to 4 man rotation.
His last year of college ball. He can probably go closer to home and probably get a little more $ for next season

Is the word that he wants closer to home?

Someone on another board said that but I don't think he's connected enough to know.

I'm sure you could pay him enough to change his mind if that's what you are asking.

How else do you think anyone plays football in Cincinatti?
