not at all. I wanted Fox to stay last year, and I am of the mindset that more changes will need to come for us to maintain a consistent bball program, but after this year it was obvious Fox had to go. Crean seems like a great hire on paper. I hope he gets us going.

Boom...

I’m fired up. I was ready to go demo a brick wall today after hearing him take all the UGA writers and UGA admin staff hostage today during his introduction today.

I mean I'm not going to have a quote from Mark Fox saying he was pissed with Kirby, because that's not how coaches at the same university handle their grievances. But a lot of insiders said he was upset about it at the time (not due to his speech but because he paraded the recruits across the gym during a media timeout) sorry if that's not good enough for you.

Of course Jeff Schultz had to be a dick and ask if all of his press conferences would start with a 27 minute opening statement

I’m on board. Hope he can keep this energy level going. The program needs it.

Oh and by the way... just for shits and giggles... where the frick is VA Dawg, Fibonsjfjgdhf, and the other dipspshits that we’re trying to convince everyone that Tony Bennett is a good coach? As I said... nice little regular season coach... blah blah blah... sprinkle in a loss to a 16 seed in the tournament every now and then... just because it’s just so common...

Getting Hagans back and to reclassify would provide us with the talent to keep that energy upward.

According to my social media tracking, a lot of women think of Tony B during sexual intercourse

So you’re saying the guy who won the ACC regular season and ACC tournament is not a good coach?

Right here you blowhard piece of shite.

It took Jim Calhoun awhile to break through at UConn. If you keep putting very good teams in the tournament, eventually you'll break through. Anyone who goes 31-2 in the ACC with multiple wins over UNC and a win at Duke is a very good team that had one very bad night.

By the way, Coach K once lost to #15 seed Belmont. Is he a nice little regular season coach too? Or did he have a very good team who had one very bad night?

I think Duke ended up winning that one by one or two points.

2012. They lost 75-70 to Lehigh. I messed up the school but got the seeds right

Hagans is an interesting piece. We are already Guard heavy and he should be one of the best athletes on the roster. Plus, he is a one and done-er.

To be honest, he doesn’t really fit on our team right now. I just say all this to say it will be interesting to see how he would impact the roster. Turtle, Jordan Harris, or Tyree Crump would have to be completely cut out of the rotation. Maybe even two of them.

What? He fits on any team.

That's debatable. We lose Parker, and I would hardly say our guards were a strength of the team.

As of right now we have no one to compliment him. Responding to your other comment, we currently have 4 Guards plus JoJo Toppin and Etorrion Wilridge are both 2/3’s.

That gives us 6 guys that can play either the 1, 2, or both. With the roster the way it is right now we have so many guards a good player won’t play like Jordan Harris. Problem is Jordan Harris is the most athletic player on the floor period, when he is in the game. Hagans would give us 7 guards.

Maybe we sit Tyree. Potentially our best 3pt shooter and if he can learn how and when to attack the rim he can be a real weapon. He has yet to fully learn this yet but is improving.

Turtle is your next option but he gives you a great deal of experience. Also gives you a lot of inconsistency but being a Sr This next year he should bring more leadership.

Who else do we have around Hagans that would really compliment him?
Derek Ogbeide? No
Mike Edwards? Hell No!
Isaac Kante? No
Rayshaun Ham? Not yet but potentially
Nic Claxton? Not yet but potentially
Jordan Harris? You woulda thought so but again not yet but potentially.
Amanze Ngumenzi? Probably not but really unknown
Tyree Crump? Offensively yes but Probably not because of matchup problems with his defense.

Personally I liked Mark Fox and you all are well aware that I didn’t want him fired. That being said, Fox’s recruiting drove me nuts. We have a lot of combo guards and combo Forwards. Fox never brought in a true center and after Charles Mann left we haven’t had a true Point Guard until Teshaun Hightower.

I say that because JJ Frazier wasnt a great creator for other people and he was better in a supplemental role with Mann at the Point.

I say all that to say this, as of right now our roster doesn’t matchup well for Ashton hagans to come in and be a real difference maker. If our guys develop then yes he could. I would really like a quality big man that is 6’10 plus to transfer in that we can get a lot of offensive production out of.

This would require Mike Edwards or Isaac Kante to transfer or quit, Preferably Edwards. We could also use Toe to transfer and then we could target white Kid who can really play and can shoot the lights out. IMO, this would fix our roster and we would be highly competitive next year.

You can easily play Harris at the 3.

Hagans, Crump, and then 3 of Harris, Hammonds, Ogbeide, and Claxton could easily be our crunch time line up.

You can play Turtle 10 minutes a game.

Because those guys grow on trees...

I don't care what race the guy is. Just want someone else who can shoot. Players will also shoot much better with a guy like Hagans on the floor.
