meaning Rivals, long thread due to one of the guys (known insider) there is saying there is a lot of infighting going on on staff with much of it directed at Pruitt. He has become a "thorn" in many sides. Also, he didn't come here because of his admiration of CMR but because his personal situation dictated he be closer to that situation. Said CMR has turned on him too.

If true Pruitt will walk out of Sanford with a disgusted look on his face wondering why a program of UGA's stature refuses to compete for championships.

I find it hard to believe that Richt would turn on the main reason that some people still support him.

i got the feeling it's because he has created a lot of friction amongst the rest of the staff. Richt wants harmony and he's not getting it.

said Pruitt was acting like nothing more than a "loud-mouthed redneck" most of the time.

Well if this is true then I can't blame him. His D has gotten absolutely no support from the offense that goes 3 and out and can't score. His D has not been perfect but what do you expect when they are on on the field 65% of the game.

the only thing the insider was adamant about was that there is not a "circling of the wagons" to get this thing right. it was more finger pointing but it wasn't towards Richt or Schotty.

He's probably tired of getting his a-hole flexed due to the offenses inability to put one foot in front of the other without looking crippled?

They're losing games. Of course there's going to be some in house arguments.

Amen. You know who doesn't have many loud mouthed rednecks? UVA, Wake, Maryland.

Who could blame the guy? He appears to be the only one doing their job! It tends to make one pissy when you're busting yours to save someone else's...which the D is consistently doing!

This. Send Richt and Co to sunshine land in Miami and let Pruitt run an effective football program here. Defense has been the only thing worth a good god damn lately.

The squeaky wheel gets the oil. If Pruitt took control of our (or any) program, it would go somewhere in a hurry.

The only thing is with his lack of experience...there is no guarantee that the direction would be a positive one.

It would really be a boom or bust sort of hire. Now that I think about it, he sounds like Auburn's dream hire.

This absolutely happened last year. Specifically after the Tech game.

Sounds like a problem that could be solved by removing the entire staff. No other way around it. Just gonna have to burn the whole thing to the ground.

Ohhhhhh wellllllll
