It's an hour long but here is Brooks Austin's breakdown, offense only, he's doing a completely separate video for defensive breakdown.

If you want real football nerd stuff...

One of my thoughts is that 2 tight ends on the field is here to stay and Georgia's going to play a bunch of 2 tight end sets come hell or high water.

I don't think so. Seems like Bobo is adapting the scheme to the personel. Seeing 12 personnel makes me feel good about the TE room because coaches see a lot of talent there.

It's going to be a stacked room for several years. The kid we have committed for next year is a freak. Then there is a Cali TE for 2026...wears number 19...Todd Hartley is an animal.

Already watched it. Brooks said at one point they wanted to run Clemson side to side, so I felt like maybe I am not completely retarded…just like 99%.

I think you’re underselling KJ. The kid was all over the field, didn’t blow any coverages, and showed sound tackling form. He has a motor, to say the least…an impressively instinctual defender. Oh, he’s 18 and last played official downs in high school.

You don’t get first game, important reps as a freshman on a (healthy) Kirby Smart defense without being absolutely elite. He’s going to be an incredibly special player, imo.

Agreed 100%. KJ was very impressive and you do not get snaps as a DB in this defense on day 1 unless you are ready to go. Very impressed.

Starks might be the best DB in the country.

Hadn't had a chance to get online much since Saturday but you hit on most anythign I would've planned to say anyway, especially regardin gEverette. It's really perplexing to me the hate he gets on pretty much any message board you read, it's like the mouthbreathers in our fanbase just collectively decided one day he was going to be the scapegoat and then word spread so now people jsut repeat it out of habit. He took his lumps early on becuase teams weren't throwing to Kamari or Ringo but he's grown up and is perfectly fine. He doesn't look lost, he isn' getting totally turned around, he's in damn near perfect coverage most of the time, sometimes teams just simply make a great play that you tip your hat to. You specifically mentioned two such plays from Saturday that there truly isn't anything you can do about, especially that sideline pass early on. That was a perfect throw on a perfect route with perfect execuition from QB/WR...there truly isn't anything a CB can do in some cases like that. If DE was in any better coverage they'd have been sharing the same pair of pants for goodness sake. I sure don't hear the same amount of grumbling when Humphrey gvies up a completion so I don' tknow why peopel have so fiercely latched onto everette for.

I’ll be one to admit I said in the game that he gilets picked on what I think that it’s because sometimes that he gets targeted on its big pass completion big
Yard gaining plays and you are correct he is there 99% of the time and usually if the guy does catch it, he’s not going anywhere. I just think that some people are going to be upset because Maybe possibly one of those catches might be a game deciding factor I’m not too worried about it because I think it was the Auburn game. He broke up that it was eithe Was either the game time or possibly game-winning touchdown for Auburn so he’s in my good graces I think I just get caught up sometimes and catches and not really think about how insanely good his Coverage Is.

All db's get picked on, I mean the offense knows the play and every rule in the past 10 years benefits the o.

One play was a heck of a catch by clemson and otherwise thought the guys were mostly in phase.

Maybe 1 or 2 busted plays all game, not bad for a warm up by a team that I consider top 7. I know they were ranked 14 but I think clemson would beat at least 7 of them maybe more.

No one could have defended that any better. He did all he could.

Here's the defensive breakdown. He has some very nice camera angles. He really liked Christen Miller's game. Pointed out some problems too, but overall positive.

If Etienne comes back then Robinson can take his time getting his feet back. I know we have a cupcake this weekend. We have a ton of depth at that position so no worries. I'm just curious how Etienne gells with the team. Not a great ways to start at UGA being suspended. I love Beck's poise and pocket presence. Beck reminds me a bit of Murray in how he handles himself and the apparent time he spends watching film. I'm curious to see Clemson bounces back the next few games vs App St, NC St, and FSU. Part of me thinks they are not really that good. Their D was great in the 1st half. Maybe they got gassed and we made enough adjustments. Our D looked great but also wasn't that impressed with their QB what I saw(1st half). I thought it was cool seeing Cash Jones get some work out there. He had some nice plays. We seem to have solid kicking again too.

I meant to also do an observation Cash Jones.

I was extremely impressed. He ran with conviction, showed speed, good hands....he looked really, really good. I thought he showed good power, speed and hands. I was nervous about him getting the ball a lot, but not anymore. I have confidence in him and i think if allowed to get playing time will really do well for us.

In Kirby I trust, I just enjoy his work these days.

I did a rewatch, and the entire team is just so solid. Great athletes who are so well coached, and so damned fast on D.

If they button up the small things. stay focused, and stay healthy this could be the best Georgia team yet. I'm highly impressed.

Could have gone with "grumbling" instead of "hate." Bryan Evans was hate. The grubmling about Everette is fairly benign.
