There was another one before that.....with Tracy Wolfson, I think......that was even more emotional. He actually broke down.

I may or may not have gotten a little choked up too.

You can tell he really cares about the kids and the program. He's a great leader and I hope that he gets us a MNC for his sake just as much as for ours.

I hope folks remember this win and what a class act CMR is next time we lose. The man has done nothing but conduct himself flawlessly through thick and thin, always loyal to UGA and his players. You can't win them all, and for my two cents, I'll take the guy who teaches the kids a thing or two about life over the win at all costs attitude all day every day. Here's to Coach Richt - hope he sticks around for a long time. Big win and couldn't be happier for the guy.

I've said this before: CMR is the ideal coach for UGA. We absolutely could not ask for a better public relations image. He's competitive and runs a clean program. We might never win a NC with Mark at the helm but we will always have good reason to be proud of our football program.

So I know it's weird but all weekend after we won I kept imaging Richt as James Cameron from South Park. Alcohol a was involved, sure, but I'll be damned if Richt isn't the bravest pioneer

It had to be a hard week for him planning for the game and the news of Oliver's passing. Mark Richt is my Dawg!

Yes.... In his post game press conference, he mentioned something personal off the field that he wouldn't go into detail about as being part of the reason he was so emotional after the game.

Was thinking that was probably it.

Wife deserves a lot of credit too after all she's been through. Strong people and make me even prouder to wear the red and black. I've been plenty critical of CMR in the past - wondering why he wasn't a robot who never left the office like a Saban. Won't hear another negative word about him from me - even if we're 2-10. I mean that.

Glad to see someone else mention Kathryn. Wonder how she's doing, personally. The cancer diagnosis a few years ago was a big blow to their family.

Mark Richt doesn’t do what Mark Richt does for Mark Richt. Mark Richt does what Mark Richt does because Mark Richt IS Mark Richt.

I'm going to have to trade in my NegaDawg card and change my screen name to DaveyUpperDawg or something Disney esque!

I was on the CMR train hard from '01-'07. Fell off the wagon for a few years and said alot of bad things about the man that I regret now. I've come back around over the last year or so. I do believe that the stars will align and CMR will bring a MNC or two to a very hungry Dawg Nation.
