What does winning the Playoff Game MVP show?

How about the National Championship game MVP show?

Oh. Everybody else won the game and they gave Stetson Bennett the MVP award out of pity, right?

Makes for a great media story, nothing more. QB of winning team almost always get it anyway.

Interesting you would say that.

Tua Tagavailoa? Did he win it? he had Devonte Smith, Henry Ruggs , Jalen Waddle and Damien Harris?

Joe Burrow? Didn't he have Jammarr Chase, Terrance Marshall and Clyde Edwards-Hellaire?

How about Trevor Lawrence? Hunter Renfrow, Tee Higgens and Travis Etienne?

Mac Jones? Devonta Smith, Jalen Waddle and Najee Harris

Should I go down the list of defensive players they all enjoyed?

Great media story.

Face it. You were wrong.

Stetson Bennett won the Orange Bowl MVP
Stetson Bennett won the National Championship Game MVP

I love it because now you can remember that for the rest of your life.

Yet Tua Tagavailoa, Trevor Lawrence, Mac Jones, Joe Burrow did not?
Wow. The other QBs did it all on their own and had no help from NFL type players. Imagine.

They all had poor game plans and no motivation while playing for a National Championship yet overcame all that to win the game.

Why, you're a genius to spot that!

FTR....in the last 7 years QBs have won the award 7 ties. The other times were won by RBs and WRs. So, QBs usually win the award but not always. It's very close.

In the past?

Stetson Bennett QB
Devonta Smith WR
Tua Tagavailoa QB
Joe Burrow QB
Trevor Lawrence QB
Ezekial Elliot RB
OJ Howard TE

Wow. Stetson Bennett is in some pretty good company, isn't he?

Seriously though, the only way Stetson was to escape the full wrath of the cünt nation was to win it all. Imagine if every QB was held to that standard. Yet, here we are, he won it all, yet, they still fricking hate him. There must be some sort of psychological aspect we are overlooking here.

It’s apparent your pride has consumed any morsel of integrity you ever possessed. It’s a small, small individual who can’t admit being wrong over something so trivial. There’s no sadder person that exists than the one who feels he somehow loses his worth when others succeed: a miserable existence indeed.

I owe LC an apology for calling him a racist. Though he shares a diminished self worth fed by denigrating others in order to make himself feel better about himself which is a hallmark of a racist, his lack of worth is so vacuous it can’t be limited by constraints of race, ethnicity, etc. A super-ego requires a super appetite to feed it.

Ironic that you noted that. I had just posted the above.
