Back to Gunner… unless that slow release has/is addressed color me skeptical. He’s gonna need time to throw so hopefully the O-Line has improved drastically.
Didn't realize this was an issue with him. Seems pretty quick on film.. but I'll leave it to the experts.

but either way, you’re not made for the internet.
There are many examples of this phenomenon on this board.
That being said, Gunner scares me. Slow wind up, questionable reads, too quick to tuck and run, lack of experience, etc. (I haven’t watched the video in OP yet.) Bobo’s ability to scheme to his abilities is also in question in my mind. Youth on the OL and their ability to protect him is another bit of a question mark heading in to camp. Hope I’m wrong on all this.
Eta: 48 minutes?! JFC, need some Cliffsnotes.

Very slow windup. Wasn't the sole cause but certainly didn't help the fumble late in second half. Tebow esque

The video addresses all of these things breaking down the Notre Dame film.

Per the opinion in the video, it's too late in his career to fix that.

The Rainbow Brite reference puts him on the later end of gen-X.
Are there any other psych profiles you'd like me to put together for you on any posters here?

Confidence will speed it up. He played scared to not make a mistake if you are being honest

It's all subjective, but I think that's horse shite. One thing I'll give Gunner credit for, he doesn't "play scared".

Agreed. Which means high likelihood he gets injured and wally pipped by Da Pug

I feel like we need to bench him now and fire at least a position coach before things get out of hand and we fumble or throw and int or lose a game or something.

There’s been QB’s with long releases before… but they were good at reading defenses and had above average O-Line play. Hopefully Gunner takes the next step.

Not scared of the big war daddy , scared of Kirby, for turning the ball over...
I think once he grips it and rips it.

I don’t want Gunner off the team. I just saw a bad progression at the beginning of the video and don’t see how Coach can trust him anymore or how I can root for him again. We will be lucky to win 7 games if that is how all of his progressions will go, which I am sure they will based on that one play I saw.

So, you don't want him/UGA to win games because of his throwing motion?

Dense comment #2 from you in this thread.
This is some of the worst cardboarding I've ever seen on the internet.

I don't have a strong prediction for how Stocton will do this season one way or the other. But what is concerning is how there was very little if any "buzz" from insiders or whoever about Stocton in spring practice. Anytime there's a new quarterback there's supposed to be some enthusiam and hopefulness. Instead it was basically "yeah, Gunner didn't play well in G Day and he wasn't any better in the scrimmages. Hopefully Gunner just had a bad spring practice and he'll be fine. frick if I know.

I'd rate your comments if I found them interesting enough to do so.

You are acting like Grace Law in the airport scene in Big Trouble in Little China.
Are you gay? Is that your problem?
