LOL No way Pruitt drops from defending BCSNCG Dc to position coach. I like the way you think though. I switch want the mud lizards' DB coach.

Last nightI was told that Kirby turned us down. However, that did not come from the Kirby camp. And things could have changed since then and all part of the negotiation process.

Ok, I hate to be a rumor monger. Everything I've posted so far has just been from posters on other boards.
However...
I just texted my buddy who works in BM and he's saying Pruitt. And he's pretty confident about it. It seems odd, since the message board scuttlebutt is strictly abt Kirby, but id trust his opinion over a strangers.

I am actually more ok with this than with Smart. Smart coming would just mean a new search in the very near future. with Pruitt only having 1 year's worth of DC experience, then I can see him staying for at least around 3 years until he is seriously looking for a HC ( if he does well).
