Hey now, Lacrosse is a damn tough sport. Plus it's not stop action.

And soccer requires extreme stamina and hockey is brutal. Never doubted any of the sports difficulty.

I just hate watching them.

am actually glad the US drew the group of death for the world cup so the US won't act like they give a shite about soccer for a month before the US gets roundhoused

We don't have the group of death.
It's not as easy as Honduras or Mexico's group, but it's middle of the pack. Essentially, if we beat Portugal, we advance. The group schedule works out for us too. Now, we don't have a great team and don't think we will advance, but the chances are not near as bad as you let on. Sop talking about soccer and go watch CSPAN. Thanks.

USA, USA, USA!!!!!!!!

The more Southern Cal guys line up in Tuscaloosa, we're gonna have to call Bama USC(central) to differentiate between USC(real) and USCjr@Columbia

I know there's a soccer board, I'll shut up after this, but Ghana has knocked us out of the cup twice in a row. We are, beyond a shred of a shadow of a doubt, in the group of death.

Why not?

He said hiring assistants was entirely up to CMR and he didn't expect to hear from Richt until a decision was made, unless the candidate wanted to meet with him

Jeremy Fowler ?@JFowlerCBS 7m
Former #Vandy coach told me a few big VU boosters called him to gather thoughts on three coaches: Derek Mason, Chad Morris, Kirby Smart

It's popular, the world loves it cause it costs like $5 to play. I'll root for the US but it won't devastate me when the US gets swept and the country goes back to not caring.

Believe, I'd love nothing more than to take all the other nation's most prestigious sport and show the world that we not only are better than you in everything else but we now have your sport that we don't even put all our focus into.

Enough soccer, gah, I feel gross and European.

Quick, someone, C&P a tweet about Smart.

And Vandy can frick itself, Smart is ours.

Vandy's too high risk, JF hit the lottery with his schedule the last 3 years & having Matthews etc. They lose a ton & JF is taking all the high 3*'s to PSU with him. I cant see Mason, Morris or KS taking that chance...

I tend to agree. Franklin is one of the only guys to succeed there and even he realized he had hit their ceiling. They may have just now started to financially commit and build facilities but they'll never be a Stanford.

Why the frick is everyone so high on Jeremy Pruitt?

He's only been a DC for 1 year and a DB coach for 2 years before that and nothing more than a lowly assistant for 3 years before that. 7 year ago he was a high school coach.

I mean the players he had this year at FSU weren't his recruits by any stretch. Hell, the DB's he had at Bama for those two years weren't even his recruits. Pruitt is a huge risk with such a small sample size.

It should be Smart then Narduzzi for our short list.

FL ST folks I trust say Pruitt about to be bumped to 900k - and will decline UGA overtures.

KS or bust?

If this hire goes internal, the wheels will have certainly fallen off....
