I like the new schtick. Just generally say he isn’t elite. Totally covers your sadness if he stays on and wins it all for us.

But if he's 100% healthy and has been given the message that he won't see the field again unless there's an emergency, I'm not sure why he would be happy about that...

You’ll be sad if UGA loses, but Bennett losing will make you less sad. You’ll be happy if UGA wins a Natty but sad they did it with Bennett. To save face, y’alls narrative has moved from he can’t win a big game, to he can’t win from behind, to he may can win it all for us, but he still isn’t all that good.

We might win it all with him. Maybe even in spite of him. Very unlikely it will be because of him.
Many won't ever credit Bennett for much no matter what the team does. But they might wonder how unreal this team could have been with a top tier QB at the helm.

If there's anyone who has watched UGA football in depth this season who does not think SFBIV is the best QB on the UGA roster, I just really don't know what else to say to them. Other than they should probably take up knitting or something, because football's not their thing.

I guess Kirby should take up knitting. He was very familiar with Bennett after all these years yet he started Daniels latter part of last season and beginning of this season.

The better QB missed 5 games with injury.
Kirby being who he is, no QB is getting a real chance to get his job back after being out that long...even if fully healthy. Not if the team is still winning, anyway. It's the Kirby Smart "lock in." Fields learned about that.

Daniels went in after Bennett got hurt in 2020 and did fairly well and Kirby kept him in while we were winning. Bennett went in after Daniels got hurt in 2021 and has excelled. Undefeated so far.
