Haven't seen that many Georgia receivers run that wide open since lord knows when. They couldn't cover and they couldn't tackle. Got hurdled three times and run over by Sony Michel once I'm saying that that was the worst SEC defense to play in Sanford Stadium since the Ole Miss defense the year that Orgeron was fired (the original hurdle game with Knowshon).

We're averaging 43 points in SEC games. Seems surreal. What the hell's gotten into Georgia? Offense and defense.

There's still plenty of time left this season for Coach Chaney to crap the bed, but right now he gets an A for the season. Georgia has 3 rushers in the top 7 in the SEC in yards per carry. The true freshman quarterback is leading the league in passer rating.

I wasn't sold on Chaney leading into this season. But all the Dawg fans who were so assured that Chaney was useless were just wasting bandwidth and were way too assured of themselves. Being an OC is the most thankless job in football. Bobo used to catch hell here. Way too easy for fans to critique a few plays during a game instead of looking at the game as a whole. "We ran up the middle too much in the first quarter. We ran a stupid draw play on 3rd and 15."

What percentage of football fans actually think that their offensive coordinator is great? Maybe 10 or 15. Debord at Tennessee set offensive records last season and their fans were griping the whole time. Now he's gone and their offense hasn't scored a touchdown in 10 quarters and now it's "I wish we had Debord." Can't win.

That was one of the directional Michigan teams. I think.

Since UTK whooped us with Willie Martinez as the DC back in the 2006 season maybe. Score was 50 something to 33.

Yes...sadly, often the answer to the OPs question is one of the defenses fielded by the Home team.

06 defense wasn't bad. Actually pretty good. Charles Johnson and Tony Taylor. Held Florida down with Joe T playing quarterback.

Willie eventually turned to crap, but Georgia won the SEC with his 2005 defense and then finished second in the country in 2007. I'd like to think the man could get a little credit.
