Why even run plays to do that?

This should be a blowout right now, but our offense will keep every team we play in the game.

They have time to call Chaney or Bobo and ask for advice.

The offensive philosophy will keep everyone in the game. If it continues like this the offense itself will end up losing games.

Again, this should have been 14-0 about 7 minutes into the game. We had two wide open TD passes and Fromm missed them both badly. I have had a lot of complaints about Coley this season but he's had some good calls today that the players (Fromm) haven't executed.

The plays were there. The players didn't make them. Coley is still VERY questionable, but I think his play calling has improved to passable.

Wow. 4 for 13. Damn all those dropped balls right Foo?
Some of it was on the receivers and some of it was on the rain making it hard on Fromm. Hard to say how much is due to Fromm's alleged "regression" with so many other factors at play.

Yep,the way they dialed up 2 TD passes that were overthrown were completely the fault of our OC.

The problem is that they dial up a couple of good drives a game and the rest of the game is vanilla, relying on play makers that aren't executing.

Coley can't dial up a sure TD on every drive. Football doesn't work that way. It is so hard to call a surefire TD in the SEC. When the OC calls one, the QB has to hit it. Fromm didn't. Twice. Herrien and Pickens were wide arse open on those plays. I don't care if it was raining. If the QB is as good as you think he is, those need to be walk in touchdowns. If he misses plays like that against LSU, we'll get massacred.

Agreed. We're passing way too much on 1st and 2nd down.

Are you even watching this game? Are watching our QB and our WR's?

I thought Coley has done well he has attacked the outside with the run. Attacked the seams and middle with the pass. We have just either missed the open people or dropped the ball. He has done everything I wanted to see on his end and we haven't made the plays it should be 31-3 right now.
