The most popular that I see is dish and a generator. You can also use your phone/tablet apps to stream to a smart TV. Makes changing between games more difficult, though.

YoutubeTV at this point will likely start to become a staple of the tailgate scene...

Chromecast or AppleTV and broadcast from your phone if you have unlimited data... if your tailgate is near a building and can leech wifi access at all, you've got that as an option as well.

I usually just use the watch ESPN app to stream to the TV. The problem is if there are games on ESPN and CBS that we care about I have to switch apps. I will have to check out Chromecast.

Depending on your data plan but I have a hookup that connects to my phone. It has a charger input and an HDMI output. I hook that up to the TV and generator and then stream ESPN or CBS

Streaming will not work on big games and we have been doing the dish and generator for years. Always try to stream with spotty results on wifi or mobile

The only time I've been semi successful was when I used Slingbox app along with a Verizon mifi

That’s not wrong but it ends up finding a way believe it or not

This is fair... The issue *generally* though will be one of getting connected initially (and possibly on changing channels), but once the app has a data stream, it typically does a pretty good job of holding on to it, even in super busy cell areas). As mentioned, ideally your spot is near a wifi source, but cell will get it done most of the time.

Even the paws wifi craps out with that traffic. I have worked in I.T. for years and can assure you that that old infrastructure cant handle 50k folks trying to stream at a tailgate. Get a tailgater and a honda gen and cut out the stress.

Anyone have the portable dish package? We just setup the camper on Weiss and have to have access to watch the games this fall. Looks like the package for the equipment is about 350.00 and 7 dollars month

Just pick up Google’s new eye-screen 5G. It works simultaneously with the implanted Microsoft chip in the back of your neck to allow one eyeball to rotate backwards and watch live games broadcast through your optic nerve and then displayed on the macular tissue boundary of the back frontal eye socket node.

Yes, there is some minor Day surgery required, and you do have to wear an eye patch over the backwards eye while logged in, but the picture is krystal clear. About a hundred times better than HD. Don’t even get me started on sound quality! Whoa!

And dont worry about the fact that it can read your mind and will permanently record every thought you have going forward and store it in an digital vault accessible by homeland security. Google and the NWO will only use all of that for product improvements. Nothing else. Go Dawgs

Going to park RV at a place called Chestnut Bay Resort on Weiss for a week the middle of August. Looks like a great place to spend a week, kinda pricey but looks well worth it...

That's over on the Yellow Creek side. Some of the cleanest water at the lake and good Crappie fishing.

Dish Tailgater and either the motorhomes Generator and outdoor entertainment center OR an inverter generator and the TV from the MH if the MH ain’t available. You can get a tailgater, receiver, tv and a harbor freight inverter generator for about $800 all in and dish has a $7 a month pay as you go plan with ESPN and SEC Network.

We’ve got it on 2 TVs inside the MH and the outdoor entertainment center. Can only watch 2 at a time on different channels and they have to be on the same satellite. Other than that it works great with just a glimpse of the southern sky. Takes about 5 minutes to put together and about 2 minutes in most areas to find the signal.......and will allow for quite a bit of movement without losing the signal.....I usually put ours on the roof so it is harder to see / steal and even without the jacks down it never loses the signal. I saw one on some marine discount site a few months ago for $200. 2 receivers from Amazon for about $50 each and you are set!
