I'll give you that. A speech is prepared. Stet's comments were off the cuff.

Just like Fromm…Stet became a polarizing figure for some reason and continues to catch shite for trivial things.

Think of the the difference between how Stet and Ladd have been treated. Both not highly touted, both got a shot at starting due to injuries….both balled the frick out and won us two Championships. Not once did I hear anyone shite talk Ladd, call him Scoutie, bitch because he was playing, bitch because he was taking snaps from other “better” players, wish he’d get benched when he dropped a pass…etc. He was and still is universally loved for stepping up when we needed him. Nobody is saying…frick I hope Ladd doesn’t come back”.

Compare that with Bennett. I get that he’s a QB…which is a much more pivotal role…but still.

We as a fan base need to learn how to support another player for the QB spot…or see what they can do….without feeling the need to shite talk the kid that’s starting to try and make our point. It happened with Fromm, then Stetson and I have no doubt the Beck/Gunner saga will result in the same BS.

Stet wins 2 Natty’s and it’s because all the great players around him.

Bama loses to UGA because the 2 NFL first round draft picks that got their QB the Heisman were hurt.

Ohio State loses because we knocked out their best receiver.

Stet wins 2 Nattys.

I don't remember my locker combination.

But I do remember all of the cvnts that have dragged down what should be our golden years right now.

Demons dragging it down down down into Hell.

I bet they have dreams of Stetson buttfricking them… and not an Elton John buttfricking, but Rock Hudson behind the dumpster at Hardees standing up buttfricking… and this troubles them…so they project their disdain on their fantasy. They blame Stetson for being dirty gay sex cum whores. They hate themselves. And rightly so…

Meh. Fromm was a real liability in games that teams had the ability to key on the run. He wasn't a gunslinger, and lacked the arm strength to get it downfield.

Fromm could make some great throws, outside the hashes, but it takes more than that to keep the better defenses honest.

Did Fromm deserve the negativity?

Does anyone?

Count me as someone who wanted Fromm replaced with Fields after a certain point. Hell, count me as someone who wanted Eason to come back and take the job from Fromm.

But, Fromm had his limitations. Stetson's only limitation, near as I can tell, is his willingness to trust himself too much and, really, that was also a strength.

Stetson threw at covered receivers, downfield, into tight windows. I could be wrong (probably am), but, I never saw Fromm do so, which didn't really keep defenses honest.

And that's why I wanted to see Fields inserted. Kid has a cannon for an arm, and he could tuck and run in a pinch, which had the potential to really crush defenses.

Ultimately, Fromm thanks Coach Smart for his loyalty by leaving him with a shitty proposition at QB when he declared, unbelievably, for the draft after killing his draft stock in 2019.

But, maybe Fromm was tired of the negativity?

That’s what drove me nuts about him early on. Resulted in some game changing interceptions. Once he reeled that in, he completely changed from a liability to a weapon on offense. He developed, which is exactly what you want out of a QB.

He got better picking his shots, downfield, as his career blossomed.

As small as he is, I don't remember him ever having a problem under throwing wide open receivers downfield.

Fromm was a smart QB, but his physical limitations hurt him, in that he didn't take many shots that he wasn't comfortable with.

Stet gambled. shite happens when you gamble.

Fromm had more X receivers and threw a bunch of 50/50s to them. The armstrength was there as these weren't just outside the hash... they were at the sidelines.

Stetson hasn't had the luxury of a bunch of X receivers. But he has had an OC who knows how to adapt (trips formation, levels concepts, and making the RB a true threat in the passing game).

You know I lived what he did Saturday, his comments.. I felt like he was speaking how the players all felt….

If you had a problem with what he said, why?
You must have been one of the ones criticizing or complaining about him and them!
