If our defense shits the bed again it won’t matter either way

Defenses give up points against elite offenses in the playoffs in the past seven years almost every time. The best we can hope for is holding them to 21 to 28 points.

This is why we should've had JT to give us a chance to get back into the game and to match these better offenses.

Should Ohio State have started Fields against Bama last year?
Should Auburn have started a hobbly footed 2nd string QB this year?

Of the 5 best and most consistently talented programs of the past 5 or so years (Bama, OSU, Clemson, OU, UGA), we have had by far the worst QB play. Why would we not question our coach’s approach to the position?

How do you know this? Got a source inside the program?

Which games in 2021 are these crappy games?

Florida, for the second year in a row.

Arkansas he had only 11 attempts and nearly threw two picks in that game that were straight-up dropped

Threw a pick against Vanderbilt, threw a pick coming in for some reason to spell for JT against South Carolina..

And now two miserable picks against Alabama in his second bad game in a row against them.

Terry Bosio was 100x the drummer that Ringo was, but Eastathenswoods never heard of Bosio.

Well said. Seems like we never have all the pieces right.. But one constant under Kirby is we have always had middling -just above average QB play.

What sucks is we can win a title with this offense, defense, and personnel. We just have no hope of winning a shootout.

Why does a generational defense need to be in a “shootout”?

I hope Kirby can figure that out before January 10th.

When you’re facing a Heisman winner, 2 first round picks at WR, and apparently 5 future Gold Jacket wearing NFL HoF’ers at OL your only hope is to keep them around 30.

I guess we’ll see what adjustments can be made and how much Metchie mattered in that 1st Half.

Just looked back on it, Bama scored only 1 TD in the 2nd half after Metchie went out. Whatever the hell that’s worth. Could be more Conservative play calling than anything

That sounds like a team that would put up 60 on Auburn in regulation. And 70 on UF.

He's played during blowouts. Cept the against Alabama, that is. He's more than good enough to go.

Super deep.

Though I'll tell ya how a blowout happens against Alabam (twice) You start Stetson Bennett against elite college leveled QBs on the other side and defenses with an actual pulse.

Offense. Wins. Championships... in 2021. Alabama has an elite offense, we don't. Blowout occurs. It's like magic!

You said Bennett only played in blowouts. I know you are emotional, but ai wanted to help you work through this. Explain how a blowout happens.
