We will get a lot of shite for that and rightfully so. That was fricked up. I’m sorry. fricked up

Was it the guy who wrapped up his ankles? No damn way that’s roughing

And now in comes the backup qb. If we've learned anything over the past few years, it's that this is not a good thing for us

interested to know how you feel about us as a team.
We have yet to put together what I'd say was a complete game against anything other than a sister of the poor this season.
The first half stuff we're seeing is *very* irritating, because it screams to me that we're not preparing well... I agree that's on the coaching staff primarily. But you can't discredit what they've managed in terms of halftime adjustments either...
I've been vocal that I think Coley as OC was probably a mistake but I'm fine letting it play out this season... I was fine with letting Chaney walk and I don't think that was a mistake, but not going out to secure a legitimate OC with their own perspective allows Kirby too much control over what our offensive identity is. And clearly, he's stubborn... I will say that opposing teams seem to get away with a LOT of contact on our receivers that we don't seem to get the same benefit of. I circle that back to Coley though... it looks like poor play/route design often that frequently doesn't really give the officials any real reason to throw the flag.
I wasn't too concerned about Lanning at DC, as ultimately, Kirby is functionally the DC. We've seen *some* improvements in areas like DL play and havoc, but it's come with some (expected but not optimal) tradeoffs... I still think not having Campbell seems to be really straining the secondary and something about our nickel corner slot has been concerning since we got Kirby.
I'm not sold that that entire group would dominate us for a whole game... but I certainly wouldn't feel super confident about matching up against that group tomorrow.
As to the "on field coaching staff" stuff... not sure... I wouldn't say UF is necessarily better on-field. Perhaps we'll find out in Jax this year. Wisconsin/ND same thing... So ultimately, not very far... Which other staffs on that list are as good at recruiting though? Alabama, Clemson, and...
No matter how you slice it, NCAA football is a jimmies and joes game... but it doesn't mean you can ignore X/Os either..

I don’t think our guard/center play is nearly as good as the tackles
Yup. Kindley and Hill are getting worked and giving up penetration at times.
