Pulling three of the top five players in GA is pretty strong considering all the schools in our area of the country that were also after them.

Awesome pick-up! Sucks that he had such a struggle, but I'm glad he ended up with the good guys.

is Smith an immediate impact guy? I see he's listed at 203 pounds, don't think he's big enough yet to play in the SEC yet. However, glad he's a dawg!

Being that he's an ILB I don't see why not. We have 2 guys that are capable with good experience there, but nothing but inexperience behind them. I don't see why he can't challenge to enter the rotation from the get go.

I'd imagine he could at least step in and play on ST. Likely that he puts on at least 10 lbs from June to August.

We also have Chuks as a JUCO guy and Ganus as a senior transfer.

Right, but neither has played a snap for UGA. It's not like we're lacking talent, we're just hella short on SEC PT behind carter/kimbrough.

We got 8 of the top 11 players in GA... the 3 that got away went to USC, Clemson & Oregon....none to SEC rivals.

Great stuff, Dallas. So outside of a potential bowl match-up, we will never play against a top 11 Georgia High School player from the 2015 class. Even better is that 8 of them will be playing for us!

We pulled a top 6 class based on Defense instead of "O" skill position players. No Top RB or QB that would usually put us in the top 10 in the past...
Pretty impressive...
