In a word...yes. At least some. UGA has been depleted at the DL position for a few reasons so yes, there is some cause for concern. I worry about the OL too.

Why? Is it because there's no Jalen Carter or Jordan Davis on the roster this year? You call it depletion. I call it reloading after one off year. It seems you worry about everything. Just don't watch the games.

8th JJ Henne (Will be good)

Of those guys listed, only one has produced anything yet. Only having one true NT is concerning

Hall, McLeod, and Johnson have all rotated in at NT through fall camp. Hall and Ogboko rotated with 1’s.

Miller, Griffin, and McLeod rotated at DT.

Harris, JJA, JJ Hanne at 5T.

Honestly, not concerned one bit about anything defensively.

Interesting. I wondered where they'd start Hanne. Only been playing football for two years. He looks explosive on video but kind of a tweener sizewise right now. I figured he'd eventually gain enough weight to move inside but I'm looking forward to seeing what he can do at DE.

Same. Even more excited for the mid/backfield. I believe Robinson will be starting soon.

Per Brooks Austin, Kirby said Gabe Harris measures at 6'4 275 and predicts him to start at DE. That is welcome news for the Dline.

I figured he'd be our main OLB this season.

Brooks also said that a good comp for the Army guy is Chaz Chambliss. Anybody expecting the transfer from Army to come in and be our answer at edge rusher will probably be disappointed.

Well, Chaz was tied for sack leader last season

I believe I stated my reasons for concern...Kirby has missed on a few over the last couple of years and depth is a concern. I also stated that we got spoiled from the 2021/2022 seasons.

My concern for the OL is legit and you know it. Not the first one of us knows just how well or not this team will play.

Been "watching" UGA since Jan. of 1968, and I believe I will continue to "watch", no matter what you, or anyone else posts.

And, since I've spent many thousands of $, I will do/say/post what I damn well please.

I'm not saying being compared to Chaz Chambliss is a bad thing, but it's also not a great thing. Just predicting that some fans may want to temper their expectations for Odozie.

Remember all the hype the OL has received in the last couple of seasons? Hype doesn't equal excellence.

Reports have said he’s better against the run than Chaz was but Chaz was better pass rusher.

Quintavius Johnson is first up, Kris Jones next

All this is telling me is you're too old to be stressing over football. Relax

There are all kinds of different reports. It’s hard to keep straight but those two are the top two consistently from what I’ve seen.

Just in case anyone has missed your and Brooks' take on this the first two times, you should post it again periodically throughout the season. I personally don't think Modozie compares to Chambliss, he looks quicker and more athletic to me. He's also two, maybe three, inches taller (6' 4" vs 6' 1") and I'd guess significantly longer arms. On the other hand, I'm doubtful we'll ever see him lower his shoulder and completely flatten anyone quite like Chambliss did against Clemson (or Michigan, can't remember).

I was gonna wait and hope for the best, but if you and Brooks are in agreement that he'll be a disappointment, I guess we're headed for disappointment. I'm gonna drop Kirby a note and tell him he needs to quit screwing around, hire Brooks and quit wasting our NIL money on disappointments. Would you like me to mention your concerns about the rest of his coaching staff?

Not stressing at all. I stated my reasons for concern...his reply felt sarcastic and a bit bullish. I try not to give any s**t, and I absolutely don't take any.
