I think it was just a great effort at home with a coach on the hot seat.

I think a rematch in Atlanta would look completely different.

It'd make for a helluva debut in the Benz. They say the only thing harder than beating a good team is beating them twice in the same season. The Boo-birds may be out in force, but even if we're not as good as we might've thought - we're sure as hell not as bad as it looked on Saturday, either.

Everyone knows it would be. Auburn fans know it would be whether they admit it or not.

Not saying we'll win, but they won't blow us out. Our guys particularly thrive in the revenge mindset.

I agree. Bama is still the most complete and disciplined team of the two, I think auburn rematch is still the easiest path, despite what just happened.

I have to believe that the Auburn players wouldn't be able to summon the same intensity as at JHS.

The way I see it is that Auburn is going to have to get up again for Alabama at home. That's a lot of emotion to conjure up following the Super Bowl we just walked in on this past Saturday. If they're able to muster up that much to beat Alabama then I believe they'll crash hard against us in MB. Revenge game, plus coming off an emotional Iron Bowl, plus probably feeling arrogant can lead to an interesting dynamic.

I would love to get payback so soon, but I think Bama would be an easier opponent at this point.

No, it wouldn't. Unless we magically get a new O-line.

So you think we commit all those penalties on 3rd down again and muff a punt along with missing a wide open TD pass?

And you really think they'd score on 3 screen passes again?

As CKS said we gave them extra possessions and made too many mistakes.

Yea,they might beat us again but I highly doubt we'd make all those mistakes in a rematch and the score would be much closer
