Per Pete Thamel.

If true, hopefully, it waits until after our season ends or he finishes the season with us like Lanning did.

Hope so. Feel like the program needs fresh breath on both sides of the ball

He's holding out for the Bama job in two years.

I attended UNC for two years before transferring to UGA and getting my degree. I still have quite a few contacts in the heavy donor class there.

I feel pretty safe thinking Schu will not get the job. The big spenders want an offensive minded coach and I think they will get their way.

Despite our collective lamentations, we’re still only giving up 18 ppg this year (15th nationally). We had one horrible half against Bama and looked bad against Miss St. Aside from this two he’s done great, especially against Clemson, Texas, and Tennessee.

I mean I haven't been impressed with Schu this year

The news media has predicted about 50 of the last 5 Georgia coaches to be hired away as a head coach. Kirk Herbstreit is calling all of our defensive recruits right now.

Against the arguably hardest schedule in CFB.

And according to Brooks Austin, brought in three 5 star recruits last class.

Yeah, frick Shumann. Get him out of here. We need new blood

I agree. He's done fine. They're dealing with an inexperienced secondary, inexperienced ILB'ers and lots of injuries on the DL. Between early departures to the NFL and bidding wars in the transfer portal, defenses like 2021 are gonna be few and far between.

Agreed. It was truly generational, a word that gets thrown around too much, but applies in this case. Nobody's defense anywhere in college football has approached what 2021's UGA defense did. It's not fair to compare anyone's defense to 2021 UGA.

He’s got some studs coming in next year too. Arguably the best D-Line class in our history.

Just because some sports writer, on a dying media page says it, doesn’t make it true

I said at the start of the season he would be hired away at end of season. From the way the def has played I’m not so sure now

Believe Mack Brown is coaching this weekend and in the bowl game, so don’t think there is a problem with him waiting in the unlikely event he gets the job

That blows my mind after being unable to field a competent defense for almost a decade.

I started with “If true..”. Obviously I know that you take everything with a grain of salt.

Happy Thanksgiving!
