People ragged on Kirby for being a dumbass coach after what we did. The mighty Saban went out and upped the ante by doing something 10 times stupider than what Kirby did.

Also, imagine how well it would have gone if that 4th down conversion deep in their own territory early in the game hadn’t worked. Clemson gave us a nice gift. A summer full of silent Bama fans. Hell, nobody even remembers or cares that we lost to Texas.

The failure of the play was funny (it was a crappy call, but it was worse execition).

Our brain fart was much dumber because not much time was left, we weren't desperate and using Fields tipped it off. We are number 1 stupid.
