Only reason Chaney kept his job this long is because Kirby’s best bro Muschamp told him don’t make the same mistake he did and change OCs every year.

I was happy, then conflicted, and now I just look to see what we do. Idk who is out there to get other than promoting Coley which is less than stellar IMO. That said, Chaney wasn't making or breaking thsi team and I don't think deserved any more compensation or commitment from Georgia.

Jimbo Fisher offered Coley the OC job at TAMU.
Coley's wife said no, we're staying in Athens to raise our kids, and Kirby made him co-OC and a big raise.
If Coley is qualified enough for Jimbo to make him OC, he's qualified enough to be our OC, especially since he's already co-OC here.

Alabama is going to need a new OL coach, and Pittman has connections to Dan Enos at Arkansas. I'm going to hold my breath until Bama hires an OL coach not named Pittman.

I don’t know if it’s been mentioned but if you’re worried about Pittboss don’t forget that Will Friend is Tennessee’s current OL coach. Pruitt and Friend have been great friends for a long time, with that in mind and with the way Friend has recruited this class I don’t see Pruitt getting rid of him.

No I remember. And I agree. Jimbo believed in him and we paid him almost as much as Chaney to stay and changed his title. His stint in Miami wasn’t great but perhaps that’s an indictment of Miami’s talent. I see pros and cons, I’m definitely conflicted. Best case with Coley is we hire a stud assistant to join us to increase recruiting as I don’t think Chaney contributed much to it. That could work. Just not sure if our play calling decencies will be remedied. We’ll see.

Are people really upset that chessburger Larry is leaving Athens? Have fun Vol fans. Please do not bring back Bobo either, time to move forward with someone who is able to make in game adjustments and doesn’t telegraph majority of the plays

Sensative subject I see... We beat up on a weak East division for two years, Florida is making some noise and will be back in contention if we aren’t careful. It definitely sucks to lose both coordinators, but as long as we take our time and get the right man for the job it might just keep that hunger alive to develop a better program and get us over the hump.
