I just gave my grandson a "Russ" bulldog yesterday for his first birthday. He loves that Dawg.

8-10 years is average, 11 is an old dawg for sure. Mine turned 11 last August. The key is to not let them get fat, which is really easy to do for a bulldog. RIP Russ, he was my favorite Uga. I liked the brown markings.
