Georgia wide receiver RaRa Thomas, otherwise known as Rodarius Thomas was arrested July 26th at 3:20 AM for three counts of Cruelty to Children in the 2nd Degree, and three counts of Battery - FV.

According to the Athens-Clarke County arrest records, there has been no bail set at this time. It's RaRa Thomas' second run in with the law during his time in Athens, he was arrested on charges of Family Violence and False imprisonment back in January of 2023, however, those charges were eventually dropped.

Yikes

On the bright side, he wasn’t driving while doing this. I think that’s a sign of growth for the team

Dude needs some anger management classes and spend a little time in jail. Hope he turns his life around wherever he ends up

For those unaware, his little brother lives with him. And that is who is probably involved here. Similar incident last year that had charges dropped. Sofl says he is probably gone. Had a do not cross line set by Kirby after the first incident.

I heard he played a few snaps of QB in high school.

He could be their new QB.

Today’s world with 16 or 17 games. Depth is going to determine winners and losers. You add these situations in makes it harder to run a team for sure.

I’ve sat on my hands and buried my head with most of our player’s legal troubles, but damn Kirby. Lay the law down. He needs to be booted quickly. It’s the same arrest as last spring basically. Even if it were to get the charges dropped again, there’s too much going on.

He literally is in anger management from previous similar incident with his family last year.

That might change things a little. How old is this "child"? If he is 15+, he might be giving RaRa hell. Many of us have had to deal with our teen boys and it can be hell sometimes, and that is with our own children. I never caused physical harm, but a couple of the boys were rebels sowing oats and it caused their mom and I a lot of pain and aggravation.

This is still embarrassing for the university. smh

This guy isn't mature enough to be primary caregiver for a minor - especially one who obviously isn't mature or well behaved at all. I sincerely feel for him because I grew up dealing with a similar situation.

However, he's gotta be gone. The program can't have any more of this. It's beyond a distraction at this point, so let him go try to find his way..

The more I read this thread the more I wonder… have none of you horse pussys ever been in a fist fight with your brother?
Thought this board was full of boomers and gen Xers that beat their chest about how tough their generations are.

The problem isn't fighting with his brother. The problem is seeing the inside of a jail cell 2 too many times while at UGA.

What's Kirby supposed to do, though? Tell him it's his little brother or UGA? That might actually backfire with recruits, while having him on the team might backfire with recruits' parents. .

Question for everyone- is it just the arrest report released or is there a police report that details the accusations? If he got in a fight with his teenage little brother, that's different than choking out a toddler.
