59 TDs and only 3 Ints. Here's our backup QB.

Hope someone gives him a look somewhere. He looks to be a solid QB. Numbers don't always tell the entire story but he looks like a gamer.

I really like his mobility and he has decent speed. Gets air under his long passes too.

Looks pretty elusive but probably vs weak competition. At 6'2" 205 he's a decent size for QB but probably not getting a lot of consideration since he's been playing AA football.

I have family in the area. Edgewood plays absolutely noone. They win state championships in practically every sport because of weak competition. I am not talking sort of weak. I am talking school for the blind weak. Kid would start for about 10% of Alabama public schools. No way he is D1 material.

Did you watch the highlights? I agree with you that playing AA Alabama high schools aren't going to give me a whole lot of confidence in his ability, but some of the throws he made were really nice. Strong arm, hit the receivers in stride. I'm not saying I want him, but don't dismiss him just because he went to a small school without actually watching him play.

I have watched him play in person once. And, yes, I have seen the highlights. And he never played a single Alabama AA team. Edgewood is AISA which consists of mostly tiny private Christian schools where kids have to play both sides,of the ball because they don't have enough kids. Not saying he has no talent, just that he isn't a D1 talent. As far as I know he doesn't even have an offer from the crappy Montgomery schools like Faulkner or Huntington much less Troy, which is an hour away.

Maybe a preferred walk on chance but I would not tie up a scholarship for 4 years on a kid without a single offer from anyone

Nathan Rourke

He should go by Nathaniel Rourke instead. That would fit better into the country club name theme that UGA prefers for QBs...

Also on that front, it's too bad that Bailey Hockman decomitted. That's a great name right there. But maybe we can get Davis Mills or Chase Brice to add their country club names to the roster instead.

Kid looked solid to me. The pass he mAkes at about 1:30 mark he stands in defender in his face and puts nice touch on the ball. Hes gotta be better than fakesmile lambert and our 5* punter.
