this is the rampant talk on Rivals pay side. Pruitt got cozy with Kahn as soon as he arrived in Athens and they've been tight ever since. Pruitt told them they needed an IPF...guess what? Kahn made that happen.
That being said, the money has told Kirby he has complete control and can retain/hire whoever he wants. that was part of the deal of him coming here. why things are still in flux.
(also something to keep in mind... Mcgarity has the "Wrath of Kahn" on him now. the slightest misstep and he's gone. supposedly he got caught lying to someone of importance. just passing this along).

Back in 2011, when I was diagnosed with stage IV lymphoma the first time, I emailed John at his 680 email to ask about his experience with lymphoma and if it was the same kind I had. He sent me back a message and gave me his # to call him before 8am the next morning.
We talked about 30 minutes before he had to go prep for his ESPN Sunday show. He called me two other times to check on me over 5 months. i don't agree with many of his opinions about sports but he is a very solid and compassionate guy. Not many in his field would have shown the compassion to a complete stranger that he did.

I agree with Belue less than I win Ranter of the Week. But only a desperate man or an idiot would take on HC responsibility without the freedom to hire whom he pleases.

shite Buck is a dumbass but he knows no one would know who the hell he is if he didn't,t hand off to Herschel for two years. fricker completed 1 of 12 for 7 yards in a national championship. His 90+ yard toss to Scott was maybe an 8 yard pass with an 85 yard run.

I mean ,he's just an announcer and personality. what the frick about him draws ire?
I actually enjoy their show and listen to it most afternoons. I have no problem with him as a Talk radio guy. He just says obvious shite or acts like he has some source, when it's either already been announced or is complete guess by him, so I take that with a grain of salt. Otherwise, I enjoy B&K and C&C in the afternoons.

They really did not like how he spoke out about building the IPF. I know that he left Tuscaloosa on not the greatest of terms and that there were some questionable things surrounding his departure from FSU, but has he really been that bad. So maybe he's burning a few bridges, but he's very popular with the players and his results don't lie. With so much hanging on these hires for ADGM, I would think he would want to keep him.
I keep hearing this about Pruitt of his departure from Bama... Could someone expound on this? I didn't realize he left there on bad terms. What's the skinny?
