LSU fans have lost their damn minds. We will arm ourselves with bookmarks and we will cyberbully the Corndogs off their own damn site come Saturday night! Bookmark all the posts, they shall never forgot! No one, and I repeat no one, melts like a Corndog.

I get being confident because if I'm being objective I'd predict an LSU win.

However there's a reason we're number four in the country. Our defense is elite as it gets and our strength is running to the outside which if their biggest flaw. Not a lot Burrow can do if we exploit that.

Also experience certainly matters, this will be the third straight trip to the SECCG for some of these guys and those guys played in the national title game.

I really hope that we can get come out fast and get things rolling with a long drive of mostly run plays for a TD and then a quick three out by our defense to set the tone

LSU is likely in regardless, although I’m sure there would be plenty of melt.

LSU is ranked 85th in the nation in sacks giving up 27 sacks through 12 games.. UGA needs to get to Burrow. Put him on his arse repeatedly. Something tells me this defense is really about to make a statement.

Burrow has some wheels though, the last thing I want to see is the pocket collapsing but Burrow runs for 7 or 8 yards. Need to put him on his arse early and often.

Not if we win big. Which I’m not predicting.

Their team earned the right to be confident. They are playing some damn good football.

Maybe I’m crazy but I actually don’t think they’re in with a loss.

They’re playing great football, especially on offense, and I get their confidence but the number of them suddenly expecting to put up more points on us than they did vs lesser defenses has me cracking up. We may not win but it won’t be because we gave up half a hundred to them.

Also, nobody will be talking shite to them on here Saturday night if we win. This place will crater back to the stone ages from the crash

Really? Because when I go to the Tiger Rant I see a lot of nerves about this game. I know I'm expecting our toughest game of the year.

There's like 2 people on there that are suggesting it MIGHT not be a complete blowout. One guy started a thread saying it could be a close game and got 19 upvotes and 152 downvotes. 95% of your fanbase is expecting this to be a complete rout and no closer than a game agaisnt arkansas or MSU.

Granted you personally may not be that way, but it's obvious the fanbase at large isn't really giving us any credit at all.

I see them in either way. I give us a chance to win but nothing this offense has done says we blow them out..unless he tosses a few pick 6 in the mix.

There isn’t a scenario where you can say Utah or OK is better than LSU. I believe that takes a lot of pressure off them. They already play lose and confident and why shouldn’t they?

That said..immense pleasure would be had building an SEC trophy out of corn dog sticks.

I agree, but the playoff isn't about putting the "best teams" in and never has been. The committee has constantly shown, every year, that they value conference champs extremely highly and a 1-loss non-champ LSU would be competing with 2 other 1-loss P5 conference champs. Granted LSU is light years better than either one of htem, but that's definitely a facotr. The biggest thing though IMO, that nobody in the world is talking about besides me, is how willing the committee will be to schedule a rematch that just happened. ONly once have 2 conference teams made the playoffs but the teams hadn't played each other that year. Is the committee going to see UGA beat LSU, then have them play each other again a month later? The ink on the playoff formation was dried like 18 months after the 2011 bama/lsu rematch. Nobody wants to see that, that's part of why we have a playoff. I just don't know how the committee can determine that LSU is worhty of making the 4 team playoff (that would obviously include UGA) after knowing what would happen if the 2 teams played, since they just would have.

No

More responses than not agree with those OPs. Most of the bravado is false and a cover for people who know we haven’t seen a defense like we’ll see Saturday.

Also outside this board I promise LSU fans know we will have to play at least as well as we did against A&M to win.

1st link has 3x as many downvotes than upvotes...
2nd link has 4x more downvotes...

So 75-80% of TigerRant think we're a pushover...

FWIW... They're prolly right... ...

Not sure that really means much. Telling someone what they don't want to hear, even if the person knows the OP is right, still may result in a downvote.

I really don't get why their retarded posters do this to themselves. It's like they derive enjoyment from getting dunked on by anonymous message board posters after they lose. Here's to the Dawgs making this a fun place to be on Saturday night

You'd have (assuming UGA, OSU, and CU win this weekend)

1-loss SEC Champ UGA
Undefeated Clemson
Undefeated Ohio St

Those are your locks, imo with these others vying for the 4th spot:

1-loss LSU
1-loss Big XII champ Baylor/OU
1-loss Pac 12 Champ Utah

That would be one of the more interesting CFP reveals yet.

I think in that scenario LSU would be more deserving than Utah in my opinion but I also don’t think they’d leave out a 1 loss P5 conference champ for a 1 loss P5 runner up.

that's what's so intriguing to me, and we dont' have an applesl to apples comparison up to this point to refer to.

LSU on paper is superior in every conceivable way to any of the other 3 of utah/baylor/OU. Better wins, more of them, a better loss, higher ranking all yeaer, better pretty much everything across the board. But they wouldn't be a conference champion and the team they just lost to is already in the playoffs. I think this year more than any other playoff year yet will be the decider on if playoffs want "best team" (clearly LSU) or "most deserving" (which IMO would be any of them besides LSU).
