This is def most likely. Something is screaming all SEC final to me though.

Then you have to beat the team you played just weeks before. Always a difficult task when both teams are great.

which is utterly retarded, which is why I'm truly not convinced LSU is in with a loss.

This would be glorious. I just don't see it. If Georgia wins in a close one, LSU will have some killer wins and 1 great loss. They in.

I agree, they woudl have a stellar resume and would likely demolish any of the other teams (utah/baylor/ou) if they played. I just can't shake the rematch component. Saban wants to talk abotu "unfair"...it would truly be unfair to UGA to beat LSU wo in the conference but it not REALLY matter since we'd have to beat them again.

I am in favor of top 6 in the playoff with a bye for top 2. But you have to admit this four team playoff has created some really great discussion over the years.

yes it's been fun, and outside of 2014 where you can make a good case either way, the committee has gotten it 100% right every year. They won't have had to make a decision like this yet though so it'll be interesting. Another thing to note about the only other time we had 2 conferecnes in (2017) is that they really didn't have much in the way of other options. Bama was competing that year for the 4th spot with OSU that had 2 losses, and Wisconsin that was also a 1-loss non-champ.

This yera, LSU would be competing with 2 other 1-loss P5 conference champions. There is a much mor evalid pool of teams to choose from this year than 2017.

If Georgia wins:

1. Ohio State
2. Clemson
3. Georgia
4. Oklahoma(could be Utah but predicting Oklahoma)

I know common sense tells us LSU stays in at 4 but I’m telling you that the playoff committee is not leaving out a 1 loss conference champion.

If Georgia loses:

1. LSU
2. Ohio State
3. Clemson
4. Oklahoma(could be Utah but predicting Oklahoma)

With only four or five responses so far. All are slightly different if Georgia wins.

Committee will have some tough choices to make next weekend

Go Dawgs!

I’m predicting Clemson loses in to UVA, LSU loses to UGA, Baylor beats OK, and Auburn is found to have paid 6 players. In an emergency NCAA meeting, they take away Bama’s loss to Auburn and rank them #1 in the playoffs pushing out Clemson from the final 4.Ohio State is ranked #4 after finding 27 of their players received “loans” from “close family friends.” who happened to all be agents who became close family friends after the players started playing at Ohio State.

UGA plays LSU again, this time, the non SEC refs call holding on LSU 42 times. Tyler Clark and Jake Burrows have a child together before half time. Swift runs for 300 and Swift’s dad whips 14,666 LSU fans asses, reportedly violating many anally with corn dogs.

Bama beats a depleted Ohio State team.

UGA vs Bama for the Natty. UGA gets called for holding 42 times. Bama has no penalties. Bama wins by 3. Saban is trampled by an overzealous Cub Scout Troop from Cullman who are storming the field. Dabo becomes Bama’s coach. Cries that Bama gets no respect. Marries his Mom. Has a Sonbrother named Nick. Bama wins the next 10 Natties. First team in history to never get a penalty called on them ever. This is all plausible

I’m not so convinced Baylor doesn’t upset OU or play them close. Utah blows our Oregon and boom, Utah makes it.

I think Utah may join LSU, OSU, and Clemson.
