Looking at week 6 games, the Dawgs could jump up to 3 or 4 if we get past Tennessee.

#3 Ohio State @ #15 Northwestern
#4 Clemson @ Syracuse
#5 Stanford vs. #18 Washington

I personally think the Northwestern game is the last shot OSU has at losing. And the Syracuse game for Clemson could be their "clemsoning" moment when they travel to upstate NY. The Stanford vs Washington game is very intriguing and I'll likely be glued to the tv set watching it.

Maryland or FSU will be the only ones with a chance to take down clemson. Likely FSU

We are all Seminoles that game

Northwestern hasn't looked as good as Chuck Oliver convinced me they would be.

I watched my first Stanford game last night, and even though it was against wast, they still looked damn good.

I actually think GT will match up well against Clemson, and doesn't Clemson have to play Miami?

Idk. UF is the only defense with a pulse theyll play. Right now theyre avging 51 pts a game with one of the best freshman QBs ive ever seen

Theyre infamous for dropping a wtf game as bad as Clemson is, so who knows

Unless Clemson trips up vs a team that has no business losing to like a BC or something their challenging games would be FSU, Maryland, USCe, and then potentially Miami in the ACCCG. Oregon and Stanford play each other so there's a loss for one of those teams. Although maybe it's a little premature to start figuring out where each unbeaten team will slip, halfway through the year it always looks like there will be a bunch of undefeated team and then upsets, head to head matchups happen, etc then next thing you know there one undefeated team and a bunch of 1 and 2 loss teams. Dawgs just need to worry about taking care of business pursue the SEC Title and let the chips fall where they may.

Clemson will lose a game. The only teams I can see winning out are OSU and Oregon. Oregon is probably the best team in the country.

Florida. You'll see a huge improvemnt in Florida's play very soon. We better be careful.

Clemson plays Maryland after FSU I believe. The Terps are playing well and that game sets up well for a letdown depending on how they do against the Noles

I heard this about several teams that are not in the SEC over the past few years...there is one team right now that is the best in the country...and they play in Tuscaloosa, Alabama...we beat them...then we got a shot at a natty...Oregon can/will be beat by an SEC team if they do go undefeated..

Clemson will most likely lose a game this season. It'd be great if it was Georgia Tech

That's because Chuck Oliver is the self appointed KingCFB. He's not a real expert, he just says things in a convincing manner. Almost all sports talk radio guys are like that. They're personalities, they don't know any more about sports than we do.

Truer words, my friend. Although it's interesting that while we need Clemson to drop just one game, we need them to do well enough to where it gives our Strength of Schedule a roid shot in the arse.

It just sucks that if we'd won that first game, we wouldn't need to have this discussion.

A loss to USCe followed by the ACC championship sounds about right for Clemson. That's a pretty narrow window....

Undefeated ACC teams and the Top 25

# 3 / # 4 Clemson : @ SU, vs BC, vs #8 FSU, @ #25 MD, @ UVA, vs GT, vs Citadel, @ #13 USC
# 8 / # 8 Florida State : vs #25 MD, @ #3 CU, vs NCST, vs Miami, @ WF, vs SU, vs Idaho, @ #18 FL
#14 / #14 Miami FL : vs GT, @ UNC, vs WF, @ #8 FSU, vs VT, @ Duke, vs UVA, @ Pitt
#25 / N R Maryland : @ #8 FSU, vs UVA, @ WF, vs #3 CU, vs SU, @ VT, vs BC, @ NCST

In a perfect world

Terps beat FSU this weekend
FSU beats Clemson October 19
FSU beats Miami on November 2
BC beats Terps on November 23

ACC is wrecked with all 4 undefeated teams with a loss. Even if the Terps run the table they may face the Auburn issue of coming from too far back to make the Top 2 by seasons end. Terps only have 2 ranked teams (FSU and CU) for the whole season and they would be most hurt by SoS issues.
