Cash is definitely a Pro Bowl caliber running back.

Now we just need an offensive leader to operate the team and own it

Cash Jones is a James Cook caliber rb.

This is a scorching hot take

Gunner will do that.

Maybe.

We'll find out in the spring. There is going to be a QB competition.

6'0 190 and run a 4.38. We've seen him catch the ball in the open field and muscled his way in the end zone vs the Gators. Another weapon for 2025.

I kinda think the coaches hope Pug wins the competition because he has more tools as far as arm and athleticism and the offense might have a higher ceiling with him but it’s not a situation where he HAS to win it because they trust Gunner to get the job done if need be.

I "think" so too, but I'm wary of trusting my judgement on that. My guess is they'd like to have a guy start for at least two years who would show a high ceiling to give top receivers a reason to look at UGA. Maybe Gunner is that guy, but without a good reason other than "backup QB syndrome" I'm leaning toward Puglisi.

Dude's never taken a snap in a college game and he is the "better" option?

Fingertips do not count as drops.

This standard says drops are "incomplete passes where the receiver SHOULD have caught the pass with ORDINARY effort."

Basically, we're talking about blatant drops, not the ones where your old man leans over and says anything that grazed the receiver anywhere was a drop in his day.

"Only use this if the receiver is 100 percent at fault and no one else can be blamed for the incompletion," ESPN tells its game charters. "Pass interference that wasn't called/passes thrown just outside the receiver's reach, etc., are NOT drops."

If it touches your hands it is a drop. This is football 101 and anyone who argues this never played football.

He’s a good player, but James Cook is a playmaker in the NFL.

I feel like Cook got better every year at UGA and continues that evolution in the Pros

Agreed. By the 2021 season he was very hard to deal with.

I think Cash has an NFL future, so I’m very glad to have him back, but Cook was/is a stud.

I looked up what is considered a drop for charting drops as a stat.

That is what the NFL considers a chartable drop for star keeping.

If the NCAA has more stringent rules for charting drops than the NFL, so be it…but I doubt that is the case.

If we are to count every ball that hit someone’s hand and was not caught, I suspect the number of drops by UGA pass-catchers this season would be well-north of the 38 official drops.

She looks as "different" as he does. Do people as young as her get lipo lip injections because hers look absurdly unnatural..

I hope this is not true. Nothing against the kid, but he's not a SEC level back and he never will be.

What we need is an OL and a decent coach to develop it.

What I mean is every football coach at any level ever will coach that if it touches your hands, you catch it.

Also, coaches at most levels will coach QBs to throw behind a receiver when throwing into spots in zones. Some fans don’t understand that these are actually good throws if that throw throws them open into the hole in the zone. I see this a lot on here.
