Bro saw his draft grade and would be taking a pay cut to go pro

This is what I'm thinking, also. Come back and try to improve his stock. It's a risk either way

I guess he didn’t get the grade he was looking for going into the NFL?

his stock plummeted this year so I wouldn't be surprised. He'll likely go to some ACC team where he can rack up big stats while not winning anything of note but get his stock raised up again.

He's going to be upset when he finds that his "girl" was most likely getting railed by multiples...

He came back last year to try and win a title at UGA. Then got raked over the coals when a tougher schedule and roster issues contributed to a dropoff in performance. And when he suffered a serious injury we had trolls going hard after him on all the UGA message boards. Every qb on the planet would be transferring after that mess.

That seems odd to me unless he was getting zero interest from the NFL.

That was my take.

Exactly. Dude was part of the 2020 class and has been here for 5 years. Has over 650+ yards lost in drops this season the most in the nation. He got screwed over by a receiving core that should have a Major NIL deal with Butterfingers
He's waited and paid his dues. He's as much of a DGD yall claim AD is.

It seems like a risk to go to a new program to try to improve his draft stock. Still our receivers really were bad this year and probably led to his head getting out of whack.

For reference, the WR Branch & A&M WR that are coming in had a total of 5 drops in the entirety of the 2024 season.

How many of those were due to passes over/under/behind/etc where the receiver had to change for it? Finger tips count as drops, too. And he damn sure can't hit a long ball in stride

Just like with McConkey, I never though I would be excited to see a low rated white skill player on the field for the Dawgs. Cash Jones is a James Cook caliber rb.
