We get his kid and he gets our OC… doesn’t seem right. My guess is that’s all part of this speculation.

We will know sometime tomorrow. That’s when the NFL will put out a full list of early draft guys that they received.

No way Monken goes for that job. Bowles seat has to be en Fuego. Probably losing Brady and all the skill players are getting old. Todd would be looking for another job in a year I'd bet.

I don't know how Monken is wired and he may cherish the NFL. But I do know this:

At UGA he doesn't have to do the one thing that makes college coaching so difficult- recruit.

At UGA he'll be coaching with a talent advantage 95% of the time. The other 5% he'll be no worse than equal in talent. Scheming will be much easier and he can make himself look very good. In the NFL he'll most likely be working with a talent deficit.

At UGA he'll make as much $$ and have as much job security as one could ever want.

I have no insight but I have to think Monken knows this as well.

But these college guys are listening to their advisors, agents, street buddies, etc, that want to get their share of his money now, not next year.

Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint is coming back.

Good news. Him, McConkey and Smith will give us some veteran system leadership in that room to help ease Thomas and Lovett into the rotation.

Bama has taken our leftovers for a few years now. Welcome to the Kirby era.

Weird. I trust our ILB recruiting and development more than anyone, buts it’s not like Bama is that far behind. I would have figured he would go somewhere he could clearly start right away. Idk if he’s that at Bama.

Dawgs ILB room is crowded

Rian Davis
Jamon Dumas-Johnson
Smael Mondon
Jalon Walker
C.J. Washington
Xavian Sorey Jr. (I thought he would enter the portal. Glad this 5* is sticking around)

+ 3 top 100 2023 LBs
Raylen Wilson
Troy Bowles
CJ Allen

Don't mind my babbling. Just trying to make myself feel better about losing Marshall. He looked good when he was in the game.

How do you personally deploy snaps for those linebackers? What do you see it looking like?
