High voter turn out (especially the high minority turn out) helps the President, plain and simple.
I will be highly disappointed if he is re-elected but I foresee being disappointed when I wake up in the AM.

Yep, Obama is ahead in Florida and Ohio. If he takes both it's likely over. Romney is a very good and well qualified candidate but our nation is on a dependency fix and it's very hard to beat an incumbent regardless. Bottom line: as President Obama has run up the deficit with government spending and it has paid off for him. He offers more of the same and people always want more free shite. The problem of course will come as it has in Greece when there are too many dependents and not enough taxpayers.

Hellz Bellz, I voted for Pat, both in '08 and this year! Raleigh needs a HUGE enema to rid itself of Eastern NC money and influence!

^No offense, but why the hell is it hard to beat an incumbent that has not done anything very well?

NC Dawg my man, today is where the proverbial rubber meets the road. I only wish Holic was here so that he could eat his crow when the final results are announced. I don't believe Obama is by any means perfect but I'll take him all day than Romney. He can take his arse back to Kolob.
Please go kill yourself ,Tia.

One word: control. He's in control and with an obliging MSM supporting him it's very difficult to discredit his narrative on every issue. A good example is the executive orders he has issued since in power. He got the Hispanic vote by basically discounting immigration law allowing kids of illegals who are in school to not be deported. Food stamp recipients have increased by millions during Obama's administration. He repeatedly extended unemployment benefits. He supported the auto company bailouts and has the unions in his back pocket. He gutted the Welfare Reform Act 1996 by waiving work requirements which was the foundation of the legislation. Obama issued over 900 executive orders in his first term in office. LINK

I suppose allowing for and conceding to the will of "WE" the people, would be too much to ask?

For your own mental health, I would suggest not turning it on. And possibly moving out of the country. This is fricking sickening

Meh...I dont have high hopes no matter which wins.
I hypothecized on the dawgrant that the greatest vote america could make is by every citizen exercising their right NOT to vote. Voice no support for either. Neither of them speaks to the needs of the majority of americans.
