Given that UGA should have blown Vandy out over the past few years, yet it's been a struggle and a close game in recent memory, what will be your take on the current UGA team if they lay the proverbial best down on Franklin and co. tonight? By beat down, I mean by scoring at least 40 points and winning by 4 touchdowns. Will you be convinced that this is a different UGA team from those in recent memory?

Firewind, not really. I believe this not to be a very good Vandy team. They had shown some improvement under Franklin the last couple of years but I think we will see they have taken a couple of steps back. The Dawgs have shown improvement on offense so far this year but the defense is still suspect. I think it will be something like 31-21 Dawgs.

Nope, just a sign that the Team might be worthy of its regard. Still, UGA must defeat all if they are to validate this poll love they are getting.

Every game is like a chapter in a book. Lets hope it's one we can't put down for once.

It is my hope the the bulldog football team plays hard and gives it their all. If they try their best and lose, we will still love them and give them our heartfelt thanks.

Yes. It would serve as a sign that the team has learned to stop playing down to inferior teams. Another thing I am looking for is immediate aggression. Richt teams start too slow in my opinion. From what I have seen so far this year the staff seems to have addressed the strength and conditioning issues.

Um, he only became their coach last year.

I would see that as one of the rare moments where everything clicks for UGA. It's happened in several games in the past few years, but doesn't mean that we sustain that level of play with anything remotely resembling consistency.

Firewind, for Georgia to win by 4 TDs would require Richt to stop his habit of not embarrassing other teams. He will never do that. Every time Georgia gets putting up points Reich slows down the offense.
Personally, I would like to see Georgia go all-out against Franklin, Spurrier, and the Gayturds.
Final margins of 4 or 5 TDs would be special for all of us.

The D isnt an issue...the offense has been slow starting in every game thusfar. In the case of the Mizzou game, it never really showed up. Jarvis Mother frickin Jones, hereafter to be referred to only as JMFJ, set the offense up inside the 5 twice.

CTG rotated 75 dudes in on defense during the first half every game. He is building depth.

Tell me how good anyone has looked against his D in the second half of any game this year.

Bingo! Put it all together for 4 quarters and I am confident. Stay healthy on the offensive line and I finally feel like we can own the trenches in the Tenn game. I still have nightmares about that 2007 game.

Again, I ask you, what is your impression of UGA now?

No doubt. USCe will be the biggest test we have unless we make it to the dome.
