I like this one, too.

On Kirby’s famous timeout call, go back and count the number of Buckeyes on the field. Shouldn’t even have lost the timeout.

Still say the best actual play was Stetsons throw to Kearis on our go ahead drive. Was probably the most beautiful pass he’s ever thrown.
Right over the defender's helmet. A thing of beauty, indeed.

re: the fake punt timeout
This is all the sports TikTok accounts are talking about today lol how Kirby was genius enough to remember it was something they did against Michigan saw it and called it.

Got to be 1 - Kirby's TO and 2 - Bowers making the 1st down.
Another play that stood out to me was a defensive play. The Buckeyes were driving with about 4:25 min remaining in the 4th. They lead 38-35 and had a second down on the Dawgs 25-26 yardline with about 5 yards to go. Stroud goes back to pass but JDJ (Bullard, I believe was nearby to assist) sacks him for a 12 yard loss. Buckeyes ended up kicking a FG, but that sack pretty much killed what could have been a back breaking TD drive.

That resulting FG was the least objectionable outcome of that drive, for sure.

The knockout shot on Harrison. That let them know we weren’t going away quietly.
Bullard is a god damn football player. Anyone getting in their feelings over that not being a targeting is not a fan of football, they're looking for basketball on grass.
Ohio State can have fun playing 7 on 7 with 2 hand touch, we'll cash out our back to back national titles playing a collision sport.

I don't know if it was the play of the game, but the third down before the missed FG. tOSU hurried the snap while our whole defense hadn't even started to line up yet. The LBs just bumrushed Stroud and caused him to throw it away. That could have been the end of the game if Mondon and Walker don't get pressure on Stroud.

Plus they had 2 players on the field with the same number. Refs didn't catch that either.

Totally agree. When they marked him short, I lost all hope. Didn't think there'd be enough to overturn it.

Kirby’s TO, the hit on Harrison, Bowers conversion on 4th down and the go ahead TD throw and catch were all the combo knock out punches that won us that heavyweight fight. Any team that can pull all that off is destined for a National Title!
