I still hate it that they widened Broad Street. I've seen more than a few people nearly get plowed over at the crosswalk to the arch.

I've been hoping they'd make College Ave a pedestrian corridor and would extend the island in the middle of Broad down toward Thomas. Same goes for Prince but I think we all know at this point that it'll never happen.

frick all of these new housing developments going up. They are going to be the hip new rich kid places for like 5 years and then something newer and hip-er will pop up and downtown will be stuck with fancy new section 8 housing in 10 years.

Fantastic idea(s) for sure. I've always wondered why there's a random island on Baxter down towards the police station. It would be great if they extended it.

Normaltown is one of the hottest neighborhoods in town. It needs to happen.

I think all this student housing will be a big problem if/when the student loan bubble pops.

Somebody somewhere is gonna lose out big time with all of these student housing projects getting built downtown. And I agree with Tyler, I was hoping for something other than some massive cookie-cutter upscale student apartments going where "The Mark" is going.
