So you are an extreme socialist to the point where only society matters and individual lives are worthless. Got it. You come through loud and clear.

I understand that we need to slow the number of people that need hospital care until we can have adequate capacity .... but I do have a problem with bankrupting millions of people to do it.

Are we doing that? Congress is working towards a massive bailout to prevent that from happening. If we quit what we are doing now, as trump advocates and no health expert agrees, then there is no point of a bailout.

Strange analogy.

I believe we need to weigh the benefits of the response with the cost of the response. I think the administration has been doing this as well as they can given this situation as a whole.

We need to do the best we can to deal with this without creating more problems than we solve.

First of all, Trump telling people that this will be over in a couple of weeks may be careless but my be what a panicked home bound population needs to hear.

Secondly, every Reserve Bank in the world printing trillions to give as stimulus will have a huge impact for years to come. That’s my belief anyway.

Who buys our debt when every country in the world is selling theirs?

Squatch, the economy is fricked either way because the orange clown who did nothing is stupid beyond belief.

After critical care is destroyed no one is going to wnat to leave home for anything other than food. Pretty soon there will be no food.

We have no choice but to bend the curve.

When he did that in Feb, It didnt prevent the stock market from tanking, so that strategy of misleading and lying has already proven to fail.

Even worse, it convinced plenty of people this wasnt a big threat, which has helped spread the disease even further. All it did was make the problem we face ever bigger, and now he is about to double down on that?

Right. LA. Washington, and NY are in their current conditions because they let Trump dictate their personal movements and actions. Great point.

Instead, you want people to be fearful and crazy so they swarm the hospitals to overload our healthcare system, drive up deaths, send the economy sprialing down even more....all because OMB. Where were these states in February locking down 24/7? 90% of the cases are in liberal run districts, but its all Trumps fault. They dont ever agree on him with ANYTHING, so why didn't they do the opposite of him and ban everything on February 1, right after Trump banned travel to China??? OH, thats right...they shite on him for banning China travel and said it was too early to take drastic measures.

A good leader of the nation would lead the nation in a unified and mature manner with clear and accurate messaging. People tend to follow their leader. I would prefer for people to take this big threat seriously rather than shrug it off because the president made and makes it seem like a small deal with his misleading, downplaying, and often inaccurate messaging.

Forgive me if I dont look to you first about the qualities of a good leader.

Hahahhaa

I do know that a good leader will try to express seriousness while also working to not incite a panic.

You know... like waiting until 1000 people die before doing anything.

Oh, you mean like Obama who didn't declare a National emergency until after over a thousand of Americans had died from the Swine flu?
"On October 24, 2009, President Barack Obama declared Swine Flu a national emergency in the United States. On November 12, 2009, the CDC reported an estimated 22 million Americans had been infected with 2009 A H1N1 and 4,000 Americans have died."

DONT YOU DARE bring up the past to compare to the present!!!! Especially with the savior! Orange Man Bad, that is all. Only people serious are allowed in the hospitals, but they are already overwhelmed and out of supplies...all because OMB told them all to run to the hospital immediately. He scared them into thinking this will be the next global killer...oh wait...OMB he told people it would be okay and they are working hard to negate this, despite all the regulations he lifted, travel restrictions, sending military hospital boats offshore of NY and Cali...IT IS ALL OMB's fault!!!! Vote him out today, don't wait until November

Oh, and the OMB is addressing the nation every day now with experts behind him. He isnt doing ENOUGH!

I would love to think that at a time like this the nation would come together for the well-being of our citizens. I am, however, amazed at how ingrained people are at their learned behaviors. Nancy ignores the jointly created bill to add unrelated pork so she can then blame the Republicans for not voting in help for the people. The reporters at press briefings that are specific to this issue, continue to ask baited questions in a hope to find anything bad to report about Trump. They ask questions like: "Isn't calling it the China Virus racist?", "Does the buck stop with you?", "Can you give us a specific date when something will happen so we can bash you if the date is missed (paraphrased)?". Trump is running a country and has to consider the major issue of the virus, plus the economy and national security. And has to deal with the Dems ridiculous antics, and spend hours trying to get good information out throught the filter of the biased press. Then I come on here and see that even on this site, we can't come together. I don't care who or how information is shared, so long as the intent and result is what is best for our citizens and our country. I hope all of you on here weather this storm safely with your families and I look forward to tailgating and high-fiving strangers again this fall when this is hopefully all behind us.

Both parties are playing the same game they always play: Attack the president, include a bunch of irrelevant pork in bills.
