Eventually...that's what happens. Some will die to Corona, others to the flu, others to car accidents...might even have some die to robbery for toilet paper

I can’t keep up with the panic hype
You seem to get it. Crazy the Gov of NY came out with more shelter in place, yet said, the panic and fear will be worse than the virus

Italy is seeing deaths rise as medical staff get sick and supplies get scarce.
We're far from the clear. NYC is going to start running out in a couple of weeks. That's why he's sounding the alarm.

but, but...that curve!!!!!!
Do you mean it created more panic and for every 100 people running to the hospital now, only 17 have it and forces our system into turmoil?? I thought the curve would stay below the line??? How can they run out in a couple weeks, past the curve?

People don't die the day they are diagnosed as infected.
Open your link and look at the graphs again. There is a long incubation period. Deaths trail infections. We are early on the curve. The tsunami of deaths lags well behind infections.
The epidemiologists are frightened. They know what lies ahead.
US hospitals will be swamped and the fatality rate will soar way above 2%.

Thats not happening. Only sick people get admitted to hospitals.

Based on what? We waited too late to pull that off.

WHoah whoah whoah chief.... hang on a second...
We, you, everybody, we already said the time for containment has passed, so you, everybody, said now it is to flatten the curve, are you now saying it's too late for that too?

So this is the new direction... something in October that Trump failed to do... this is like a preview of the next Better Call Saul episode.
I can't wait to see the new spin!! I'm excited!

Flattening the curve is all relative. In order to keep the curve below the line, we needed to implement these measures weeks ago. We failed to do so because it was just a hoax designed to take Trump down. Now that we know its actually a real major problem, we are just trying to keep the curve from getting too far over the line.

I'm calling you out as a liar.
You agreed that the time for containment was past (blame trump whatever blah blah) but the time to do damage control/flatten the curve was the new thing.
Now that wasn't good enough either, even though you called for it, as the right thing to do at the right time.

What an odd accusation. What exactly is the lie you are trying to expose?
We needed to implement these measures weeks ago if we wanted to not go above the line. We didnt, so we will go above the line.

Italy and US are "struggling"
What a joke.
We're not in the same stratosphere with Italty.Ive blown up the Italy narrative multiple times.Either you guys don't believe in historical data and demographics or you're being purposely obtuse.
The scope of CV-19 still isn't close to H1N1. Not in infection s and not in deaths...not after a 2 month window on each.
I've run the 2 month comparisons on each in the US and also the final numbers for H1N1 deaths and infections in this country.
I still say the US deaths and infections won't be close to H1N1...funny, didn't see you guys wetting your panties back then or entire businesses and the economy being wrecked over it.
I'll be glad to run the numbers again but you'll still willfully ignore them.
