What? Folks from Atlanta with homes up there have been at Burton for at least a month and a half and the locals up there were extremely hostile at first.

Smart people are suspicious of those who say to trust only them. In the political arena, where the people should trust no one, those who say to trust only them are always trying to mislead.

Of those who make up America's vast and imperfect media that phrase applies almost exclusively those who machinate, mislead, and propagandize in Fox's not-so-little corner of the political landscape.

That alone should make any loyal Fox viewer questions their viewing choices - or at least force some variance if only just to gain exposure to what they're not being told.

This is all jibber jabber and I don't know what it means.

I fact check pretty much everything that interests me in the news, and Fox comes out less dishonest than the other outlets.

And when I say fact-check, I don't mean corroborate with other right wing sources that are all parroting each other.

Unlike the leftist media, who use corroboration among themselves be their method of fact checking. They all quote and source each other in a 24 hour circle jerk to make their bullshite appear as established fact, when it is not.

There was a great quote I read from a leftist newspaper article in 2017, I forget which one, and I forget the guy, but it was when this Russia stuff was getting hot and heavy, this leftist dissident said "I'm afraid we're building baselines of fact based on no facts" in regard to the growing Russia hysteria within his own barn.

"Baselines of fact based on no facts"

Think about all of the baselines of facts these people use to justify a lack of sourcing in their news stories day to day. It often appears in the form of "We know ABC, and we know XYZ, therefore we can accurately report LMNOP" where ABC and XYZ are baselines of fact based on no fact. It's fine in editorial content, but when disguised as news, it's despicable. And the leftist media is much more guilty of it than the right.

Ultimately it's a small sample size so it's not necessarily statisticlaly significant, but it is a bad pattern, something you don't want to see.

The 7 day moving average went from 3 new cases a day to 9, within the last 14 day window where the numbers usually revise up, not down.

Yeah. Donna Brazille and Juan Williams on Fox News are like employing Trump's children. No objectivity whatsoever.

Just caught that redundancy. #shame

Oh - It would be very generous to say that your comment is just barely relevant to mine when contextualized. It does not, however, refute what I said at all.

Carry on.

You reference what "is not being told".

I don't know if you have watched fox news lately. Exclude tucker, Ingraham, and hannity, and you can find actual journalisming.

Is Brazille a shill?
Juan Williams went to Fox because he wouldn't be told what to say.

All 100000000% projection.

You dipshit lefties have accused people here, including me many times, of getting our information from Fox News (as if it's an insult), when truth is I, and many who are not of your ilk and retarded beliefs, don't watch a lick of FN.

But I/we know damn well YOU fricknut imbeciles get all your information from Leftwing rags like CNN, MSNBC, NYT, WaPo, and bullshite like Reddit, Democrat Underground, Daily KOS, and fricking nighttime comedians.

Studies have been done that show people right-of-center have a vastly greater expanse of information sources, on a spectrum around 40/60 left-to-right. While people who are left-of-center are almost exclusively in a bubble and getting 90% or more of their information from leftwing sources and only leftwing sources.

So really, go frick yourself with your ignorant generalizations and absurd projection.

Over 21 million more people in the Republican states but let's ignore that.

Density is high in the metro areas of those red states, most of their population lives in dense areas. Those blue states also have vast rural areas outside their metros.

Both sides of the equation balance.

How do you square that?

The density of states like Texas is nowhere close to being as high as the density in states like New York or Massachusetts.

Yeah expect you have roughly 27 million people in a fairly small area none of which any other area of the country has

You are being deliberately dumb at this point.

Although Texas is a big state by square miles, the vast majority of the population live in very dense hotspots.

Something like 80% of the whole TX population lives in one of these tiny red areas.
