I'd like that but once you give them the facility you can't get pissed at the AD, coach, or anyone. Building is already there.

I wanna pressure Richt in his 30th year.

If you're rich enough to be shelling out millions or new buildings I think the AD would listen if you wanted a coach removed. Look a Oregon. If Phil Knight wanted their coach gone, that office would be cleaned out in 10 mins.

I'll put it this way: if I was a billionaire, the "we don't have room for an IPF" excuse wouldn't have flown. There would be a new track on South Milledge

Good point. Sometimes I fear Georgia and the BOR will be all like "he does it the Georgia way"

I'd put my feet on the AD's desk, flick my cigar ash on the floor and exclaim "brah, I AM the Georgia way." Then I'd blow my nose with a couple hundreds and be on my merry way to my G6. Vegas for the weekend to help "fundraise" for the new basketball facility on the black jack tables

Billionaire DGD nukes the Steg, builds an IPF that has a new bball gym on top.

Don't forget doing coke off each of our 10 new national championship trophies before taking off. tEmpire

I don't know if my double decker IPF could support a basketball arena on top of it but we could look into it.

Sound advice. But it'll be ones leftover from Toppers to start off.

I'd borrow one trophy for the flight and we'd do 8balls until our pilots were numb.

It'd be worth looking into at least.

Hey, tech guys, yall are engineers or something. Could a IPF have a basketball gym on top?

Money is of no concern.

I have no doubt that money is being exchanged between boosters and recruits BUT I would think that some of these kids would spill the beans at some time in their life.Especially if their experience at the school wasn't very good.Yea,I know an it does happenn occasionally but it's very, very rare .

If it's as widespread as this article wants you to believe it is I would think a reporter and or one of these players could take down a big time CFB. team...AJC would love to expose something like this.

What would the player say?

"They paid me."
"No we didn't"
"Yes you did. You gave me $10,000 to sign."
"Prove it."

There's no trail that's substantive. It would be bad press, but it's unlikely that anything would come of it. The school could just argue that it's a disgruntled player who feels wronged and has a motive to lie to take them down. SMU only got busted because they were sending money in SMU stamped envelopes.

Cecil - No they didnt
Reporter - They gave you 180K
Cecil - Prove it

The Ramsey kid from AU did in fact say he was given cash and it got AU placed on probation...same with Albert Means and I believe one of his coaches both said the same about bama and ALMOST got them the death penalty

If you have some type of cooberation from A GF,Parents and or coaches you could at least run with the story but not sure it would be enough for the NCAA...I would also think one of these car dealerships could get nailed for money laundering even if they show a receipt for a cash purchase...you would eventually have to account for these funds

Hmm. Interesting article. I know for a fact that some of the things he says doesn't happen does in fact happen. It's rather obvious if you pay attention. One day, someone started bragging to us about it.

I also was talking with someone who worked in one of these athletic departments who I was friends with. I mentioned to him I saw him doing something. He didn't deny it. He wanted to know everything that I knew and how I knew it but he didn't deny it. No way I told him.
