It would be great for Bulldog nation if Patrick can come clean and play an entire season. His position would be one less to worry about heading into the season.

The business side of Journalism, especially when it comes to print is like...

"Well, we have to create controversy, but we can't lose subscribers...

It's Col. Kurtz explaining a snail on a razor blade, it's Alice explaining the rabbit hole.

It's about pissing off enough people to subscribe, while coddling the affirm.

If an Athens Banner Herald reporter is turning this newspaper into a local "National Enquirer", so be it.

I'd like to see less sensationalism and more in depth reporting. Report the arrests as news.

That's all it is.

I hate to reply to myself. The ABH reporter being the first to report an arrest, is almost like the recruiting sites with their VIP exclusives, it's like Fox News with their "Breaking Story".

It's become who is first. That in my opinion is a only a quick "way to earn a buck". Be first, grab the pseudo glory...

When you can finally write an item, when you can finally provide details, when you can engage my curiosity to learn more, I'm there.

This reporter that the ABH employs is nothing but premature ejaculation.

The paper is about to be out of business and he'll be looking for a job. All of the other beat guys like Chip Towers, et al, they have already moved on from their dying newspapers into digital media, and are doing well, and they are all blackballing Weiscer because they all know what an arrogant schmuck he is.

Weiscer is about to be making hot fudge sundaes at the Dairy Queen on Oconee Street. But even that won't last long, because the owner Hajeeb isn't going to put up with his arrogance and will end up caning him in the bamboo field behind Carr Street and leaving him for dead, to be picked over by the local crackheads, rendering the crime scene contaminated and mysteriously the Dairy Queen surveillance cameras malfunctioned that day and no witnesses saw nothing.

You’ve put a lot of thought into that . . .

I wouldn't go that far.

If you are going all in with your reporting, admit on the op-ed page what your opinion is. Give him a column.

I can't believe that the ABH employs a journalist that's only asset is to scoop arrest reports involving UGA athletes.

I may be wrong, as I don't read the ABH except on gamedays.
