You're a retard sometimes. I'd take my MMR over some engineering degree any day of the week. I'd especially take an MMR over a "management" degree from GT. Working for the Government as a Civil Engineer, or building houses with an engineering degree isn't tops on the list, IMHO. I'll make double in my lifetime with my Marketing degrees than most "engineers" from GT. However, I'm not a "dorkmonster" that is content with being that super nerdy quiet dude sitting behind a desk in a tiny cubicle bitching under my breath about how badly I'm treated collecting that 100k salary.

I think on a larger scale.

It is cute to see all of these "book smart" people that get these "valuable degrees" from GT and make less than 100k working for the FAA or some other runway construction firm. I know 2 Civil grads that sit at home collecting my tax dollars while they "look" for that high paying job that doesn't exist at this point in time.

Obviously not, because if that was the case then he wouldn't be academically ineligible.

This but I do agree we get our share of NFL level talent that are pretty much using UGA as training ground for the pros.

Wow, that's huge. I would rank him just behind Murray and ahead of Jones for players you Most Needed for this game. Nebraska is a running team with a mobile QB and a downhill RB. Geathers will get tired by the 2nd half and Thornton isn't really big enough to execute that 3-4 NT position. I wonder how this is going to impact the 10.5 point spread?'

If I was Coach Bo, I would think I'm going to go run-favord to run-heavy on you guys and just stick with it, to see if my QB/RB can just grind out the win.

You're comparing a masters degree to a bachelors and I'm the retard?

Tell me about all those UGA liberal arts grads making all that money and get back to me. Meanwhile I'll make these BMW's with my BME and clean up all the way to the bank.

Typical Tech...strong in math with little, if any, reading comprehension...

Let me clarify:

a) Throwing out the old "all you have to do is show up at UGA" argument in a thread about a player that was just determined to be academically ineligible to play in his final bowl game is just dumb; and

b) Your totally subjective opinion about the quality of the GT Mgmt Program doesn't change the fact that I knew a bunch of dumbasses (mostly your athletes) that were management majors back in the early 90's.

quote:

Management at GT is a better major then anything UGA offers

That obviously shows you're incapable of being objective. How "good or bad" a major is directly related to what a student wants to do with it. Based on your logic, no matter what I may want to be....a doctor, attorney, accountant, sales guy, farmer, vet.....etc.....none of that matters - the GT Mgmt degree is "better".

I would argue that almost all SEC starters look at the NFL as their future. Also, I can understand the thought process of saying "the hell with it" if you're projected to be a first rounder. It's just very selfish.

Most people go to college so they'll be able to get a job and increase their earning power...I'd say JJ succeeded.

Leaving your teammates hanging is a totally different issue however, and not even finishing the season is pretty disgraceful IMO.

My pick in the bowl pool just became very questionable...

Also, I fully expect us to once again run straight into their defensive line like we tried in our bowl game last year ...one of the few strengths that Big 10 teams still have.

By the way, my opinion of the quality of GT's business program is subjective, even when backed up by national rankings?

Yet your opinion of the graduates as stupid, backed up by no evidence, is not?

I like the way you think.

Now compare those same GT football alums against the average UGA football player from the same era. Just go to any pulpwood mill and you're bound to find a few of them.

Making it a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. (BS Mechanical Engineering)

A BME from GT is a Biomedical Engineering degree.

Are you talking about the same Nebraska team that gave up 539 rushing yards to Wisconsin? In one game?

Nope. The degree is actually Bachelor of mechanical Engineering.

To clarify, when talking about the major, I would say ME for mech eng, and BME for biomed. But when talking about the actual degree earned, mine was a BME, biomed is probably either BBME or BSBME.

Most truly "smart" people I have encountered in life don't go around telling others how smart they are and flaunting bullshite degrees (if they even have any).

Meanwhile..... If you dont know how smart Rules is....... Just ask him. He'll tell you ALL about it.

Dude's practically a genius and you're just gonna have to take his word on it. End of story.
