That's major success if he does that. It's easier said than done. The college basketball landscape is so vastly different than say the 90's or 00's. The mid majors and smaller schools are able to compete with the power 5 conferences. It's kind of the opposite of what has happened in football.

Absolutley huge pickup, no pun intended. We're still in it for some big time guards which woudl be awesome, but it feelsl like we have rarely ever had a physically imposing dominant true center in all my years watching uga basketball. It's going to be awesome to see this guy on the floor along with our improved wings and everyone else we've got.

I may be wrong, but I don’t think we’ve sniffed many top 20 recruiting classes in basketball in the last 20 years

Could be wrong but seems like a lot of the teams doing well in tourney get guys that stick around versus one and done types.
It is ridiculous we aren’t a top 40 program.

wheeler would be a perfectly fine addition but I thought he was heading elsewhere? I know he briefly flirted with a return but I thought that ship had already sailed. HE can't shoot but he's one of the best assisters in the history fo the SEC so I don't knwo if we're in a position to turn that away if he was interested.
Either way, if eh doesn't come we look to be fine at PG. prior to yesterday it looked like really shoring up the 2 was the biggest concern and Cain helps with that. If we can get Thomasson we'll be, dare I say it... a potential tourney team

Wheeler is probably going to Washington. He visited here a couple weeks ago but there’s been no smoke since then.
We are the favorites to land Noah Thomason. That’s our starting PG IMO
If I had to bet on our rotation come November, it will be something like this:
PG- Thomason
SG- Cain/Hill
SF- Melendez
PF- Deloach
C- Tchewa
6. Hill/Cain
7. Jabri
8. Holt
9. Anselem
10. Dylan James
11. Moncrieffe
12. Mari Jordan
13. Silas Demary
