I saw brief highlights.
Thought it was going to be solely for Richt, but they honored a bunch of former players too along with him and gave them all trophy type things. Richt got a football

Band spelled Richt. Pretty awesome. I didn't realize how far his Parkinson's had progressed.

He called the dogs pre-game also along with being on video board.
Some great memories with him as coach. Glad we got to honor him before things went further south for him.

Yeah, Bulldogs Game Day said it was planned for next year but they had to move it up, based on his health issues.

well, yes and no.
At other points in the game they did honor other players, I can't remember specifically what each of the honors was for but there were several at different times.
At halftime it was strictly a richt thing. They had a really awesome video tribute on the video board and at least 30 former captains from his teams alongside him where they presented him with a football or whatever it was.

It was so good to see him back and to see the stadium go nuts for him the way it did. He deserved that.
For as much shite got talked about him over the years, I think enough time has passed that everyone can remember the good times now and agree that they’re proud to have him associated with the program.
Richt is a DGD for life.

How many schools have ever brought back a coach they fired for honors? How many fired coaches would return?
That’s special dude and a special place.
I legitimately look up to Mark Richt as a hero.

Interesting how our last three before CMR stayed somewhat part of the program and CMR is still so appreciated. Not much scorched earth from our past coaches.

Found this on YT. It doesn’t have the calling of the dawgs from the beginning of the game but it’s pretty much the whole halftime tribute.

I went to the game and saw it. I thought it was an awesome tribute. The stadium went wild and was louder than when Joc Pedersen was recognized with Blooper. On a sad note, CMR isn't looking well at all. Glad it was moved up for him.
