This past weekend, we hurt their argument to make the playoffs after their self acknowledged, impending, annual Bama loss. Thats the only explanation.

It is a seriously weird form of insecurity LSU has.

It's like they fully expect a heartbreaking soul crushing loss (again) to Alabama, so they're getting a jump on feeling better about themselves by insulting Georgia and our chances against Bama in the SECCG.

It's almost manic at this point.

They are the craziest fanbase 365, it's what I like about them.

I must now admit, much of what I say, is due to the assholes with G behind their name, who post on SEC Rant.

Jeffy, you're exonerated.

Dipshitriggy, you're not.

It has been odd - they are terrified of another blowout loss.

I am staying out of all that mess.

We for sure have our share of "nut jobs" and "mental cases" but I hope you dont judge the majority of us based on what a bunch of mental cases on the SECRant post.

That is a small relatively insane segment of our population.

The fans many of yall experienced last year in Baton Rouge is more like us. But yeh we have our share of idiots cannot deny that. Not as many as UF has though.

But yes our fan base has always been a bit off at times. Hey its my tribe what I can say.

As for Bama, most of us are cautiously optimistic but dont expect a win.

Almost every person I know back home likes UGA and is "the team in the east" they root for because of our common dislike of Auburn and Florida.
plus we rarely play each other.

Yep, I always kind of liked their program, but their fans have changed my mind as of late.

Would love to face LSU in the SECCG & exact some revenge but if they win vs Bama this weekend, they’ll be insufferable all the way to Dec 7.

I've always looked at LSU like the crazy uncle of the SEC. I love interacting with them and get along with them for the most part, but sometimes shite can hit the wall in the right conditions.

Half of my family are LSU grads/fans, LSU is who I pull for in the west, that said, I am really worried about their mental health next weekend.

I honestly think they have blown the Texas/UF thing way out of proportion and not sure they have the defense to stop Bama.

See the game somewhere between your typical sec slug fest and the OU/Bama playoff game. OU still had a better o than this one for LSU plus a mobile qb.

It kind of came out of nowhere too and it’s not just a couple of their fans, it’s a lot. Like some sort of weird coordinated melt, about a team they aren’t playing this week in another division. Odd.

The crazier ones are just upset that we’re getting attention for a Top Ten victory over Florida. They don’t understand that multiple teams can be good at once and that attention can be equally divided amongst the top teams.

I want Alabama to win this weekend so the dumb ones crawl back into their hole. Then the normal ones will reign until the end of the season, and then we’ll get a grand melt when an 11-1 LSU gets left out of the playoff.

I want them to beat Bama. Then we beat them and get in the playoffs along with......Bama. It would be the most LSU thing ever.

In recent memory, I haven’t seen a fan base go as all in on the need to win a game as LSU has this one. Way more than our base did with any game I can recall. 8 years of defeat. The best offense they have ever had. This is their chance.

I honestly have no feel for the game with the big unknown of Tua.
