Frankly I rather have these saved for a big game but since our season is essentially over a night game against State aint bad

We were gonna wear them so may as well now. Just sucks that all the enthusiasm has already been sucked out of this season before we got to wear them.

It’s a bit disappointing to be sure, but I guess I’m one of the few that is just happy to get to Saturday and have a game to play. This season could have ended up not happening at all. I never thought it would come to that but it came a lot closer than I ever expected. We aren’t as good as I hoped but I still love this team .

I didn't see the dog collar on the ones the lady was sewing.
Wish we would go predooley and March out a silver helmet occasionally.

Hes probably aware of how much of our fanbase are whiny pussies that still associate them with the one time we lost in them, heaven forbid we wore them against au or ut and lost we'd never hear the end of it in a million years. So I don't mind wearing them in situations like this.

Think what you said is the case. So many people are weird about the jerseys he isn't going to ever use them for a big game. It's just an unneeded distraction.

I don’t think the black unis would be perceived as badly if Richt hadn’t used them for 2 consecutive big home games.
One of them was kept a surprise and it proved to be an effective motivator. The other, which had been confirmed to the media several days leading up to the game, backfired terribly.

The jerseys had nothing to do with winning or losing either game.

The opinion of the whiney fanbase is the very last thing Kirby cares about.If that was the case Stetson Bennett woulda never have played a snap after the Bama game.
Black is an official school color and I have no idea why our fans can't accept it.Black jerseys should part of the uniform rotation every year.

The black jerseys should always be worn for the Tech game in Athens.

The black jerseys look great, but Richt ruined them with he making them into a gimmick. They should be worn, like to honor a fallen dawg or something. Kirby should say we're wearing them to honor Jake Scott or something.
