Having a veteran C will be huge w/a new QB.

Awesome because I got the custom SVP jersey!

Actually 1 He is a great center. 2 Center is super under appreciated position. 3 He is a total class act.

As someone below mentions, this is a key piece of the puzzle for 23

I think seeing the twos and three deep there, it made me realize I’m not as acquainted on the depth.

Anyone care to give me the warm and fuzzies on the backups really since we are so heavy rotationally anyways?

Not a whole lot is known really. Earnest Greene was doing great in camp last year until the back injury. I’m not sure whether he’ll be left or right tackle but if healthy, I’d be surprised if he wasn’t starting opposite Mims. Truss and Willock rotated a lot last year and in the beginning of the year it was because neither could lock the job down but later I think it was because both did well. Micah Morris also got some good words in camp last year. And if something happens to SVP, I actually think Blaske would move to center. I think he was the first backup center this year.

This

I was a little surprised how little Morris played in 2022. I don't know if anything changed from camp or not.

LT will get looks from Greene, Mims, Truss, etc..
Mims is probably the best player. But there were a couple of struggles on the left side and we decided it safer to move mcclendon as our #2 LT during the season. That may be the opening for greene. Or maybe Mims continues to improve as he has the past couple of seasons.

I really expect Tate in particular to show out two years removed from his injury vs. Clemson. Great kid. And SVP, what more can you say? DGD no matter what. He's quietly done a great job for two years starting.
