What? Bama and tOSU likely in the playoffs? No way!

You're right no way, considering if we beat bama in the SECCG they have a 0% chance of going.

Ohio State is playing strong but see how that looks after two of their toughest games back to back and their championship against Wisconsin if they get past Michigan and Mich State.

Oregon will get a test from Utah…which says it all. They lose and Ohio State takes a slight ding.

The Big 10 could end up with nothing but 2 loss teams. ND slips back into the conversation with that certainly.

Ok State is in conversation more now but the have to beat OU and likely Baylor..again. Their loss to Iowa State isn’t bad. They are in if they win out.

UGA
Cincinnati
OK State
ND

Agreed that the Buckeyes scare me the most at the moment. But, things to consider:

1. Before this weekend, the chatter was about Ohio State not looking as great as they had been in the weeks previous (where they were routinely scoring 50+)
2. Speaking of this weekend...yes, they looked pretty unstoppable. But we're talking about Purdue here. Purdue. Not that it's the be-all-end-all measure, but Purdue is #48 in talent composite. This is a team that Ohio State should have no trouble blowing out.

Again, Ohio State is spooky. But I think the narrative that they have no problem vs inferior competition might still be in effect. Fortunately, while we're (hopefully) kinda coasting for the next few weeks, OSU is hitting the toughest stretch of their schedule. So we should learn more in their matchups against MSU, Michigan, and (presumably) Wisconsin.

Has OSU played anyone with a defensive pulse?

I will not be surprised if Ohio St loses one of their remaining games. Good chance Michigan State or Michigan goes in over ND. OK State is in a good spot

the only team that can really challenge us and potentially beat us

Looking at some of the Alabama forums this week, many of their own fans don't seem to think they can beat Georgia this year. Or at least they have serious doubts. They are mad about their OL apparently under-performing and sucking at run blocking, their defense is way down compared to the last couple of years, and they have some injury issues - especially at RB.

We beat Bama in the SECCG that knocks them out of the CFP since they already have one loss, correct? But if we lose to them, we are still in the hunt correct?

Both are likely, neither are guaranteed.

I really think OSU is losing 1 of the next 3 weeks. Their LOS on both sides cannot hold up against MSU, UM, and Wisky in consecutive weeks.

Are any of those teams actually good?

I’m just saying, think OSU is weak in the LOs, they’ve made hay the last few weeks in weaker teams., Oregon and Minnesota and PSU exposed them.

Doesn't really matter - can any of them get lucky?
