Naftali Bennett said a couple weeks ago that Turkey is the new Iran.

Attacking NATO would be suicidal. Turkey would absolutely call for Article 5 support. Even assuming that the US was willing to block its invocation, which is by no means guaranteed, a number of NATO nations would support Turkey, even if the Alliance as whole did not.

Back around 2011/2012, I made weekly videos of me running an old 90's V8 Oldsmobile station wagon with no catalytic converter in my driveway for no reason but to pollute, and post it in response to whatever liberal friend or family member would post about climate change on Facebook. This is before everyone got so block-happy. I don't have many of them left, in 2020 some directive went out to liberals to block anyone who isn't a liberal.

I haven't kept up, but I'll see who Kemp endorses. What a great governor. I assume if he rides off in the sunset he'll go work in the private sector where he can make a lot of money and have a powerful influence. Seems like. he would make a good presidential candidate in 28, but I think Vance will definitely run. I just don't think Vance will have a chance with all the Trump and MAGA backlash. Just the posturing way he tried to talk down to Zelinsky was staged and came off like he had rehearsed what Trump told him to say; which he probably did.

I don't expect you to accept it, but here's the salient point you're missing. The US dollar is already dead money walking. It's a note against the US Treasury and the US Federal Reserve, and both are effectively bankrupt. Barring some massive advance in energy technology, they can't honor their paper in real terms. All they can do is dilute it into oblivion at an exponentially increasing rate. We're on the steep part of that curve.

This dipshitedness fits perfectly in this bizarro world thread of idiocy

The reason why the US dollar is the “worlds reserve currency” (meaning= the reason why the U.S. empire has a fed reserve no limit credit card with no penalty for late payment) is because our allies in the Middle East have agreed to sell their oil in U.S. dollars in exchange for the US military guarding their oil fields from their tribal enemies

That’s right. Your patriotic sons, daughters, and trans kids that sign up for the USA are actually guarding something else

Enter Trump (on behalf of Israel) demanding Ulysses S Grant on something hilariously called “truth” social.

While all of our allies over there in the area take the missiles in a war for a tiny country they hate. When they were never consulted about any of it beforehand.

They take the missles and chaos and the years of unrest and refugee migration that will result from this. And they’re suppose to keep trusting us?

Do the fricking math.

I’ve been around long enough to recognize the signs. All of a sudden all we hear is the “threat” of a ME country, their people need to be freed from an oppressive regime, we have to do this due to the threat to the US…etc. Iran has been “weeks away” for decades. The amount of money Israel pours into US politicians is astounding. If you question it you’re a Nazi. We send them billions of dollars every year. Many of our politicians spend more time in Israel than their own states. Meanwhile, our Fed budget is $2T higher than it was 6 years ago and nobody can figure out why everything costs so much. Politicians get rich in DC by a multiple that we all know is impossible in the normal word.

Those allies are Arab states. Yes, they aren't fans of Israel, but they also hate the Iranians, and more importantly, fear them. Thus, most of them have also agreed to give Israel overflight rights (Saudi Arabia and Jordan were the first, I think, and that was years ago). That's how much they hate/fear Iran: they are willing to give one enemy overflight rights to fight another one that they consider to be worse.

Don't pay your taxes in 2026 and tell them it's an outdated issue.
